i miss everything that we almost had,
what we almost were.
i keep running it over and over in my mind,
all the should have,
would have,
could have's.
i often think back to the moments when
i should have made a move,
and i would have if i didn't screw it up,
i could have saved us from this sinking ship.
a vessel that was once deemed the most unsinkable of its kind.
but here i float, stranded in the middle of the ocean and i gave you all of the life jackets.
