While driving, i see aaliyah wake up little by little. "Beba? Did you have a good nap?" She rubs her eyes with her gentle hands, she looks at me and says "where's daddy? Yo quiero a papiiii"

Oh crap what will i do?? I have no idea where richard is. I try avoiding that and say "ali quieres ice cream??" She claps and says "si! Si!"

So i went to a close by ice cream parlor and got her strawberry vanilla ice cream. I give it to her and we go back to the car.

I still need to go buy richards gift. The only bad part is....i have no idea what im going to buy him. Like, i know him but just not what to buy him...does that make sense? Idk.

I have an idea, ill go to the mall so i have multiple store options. So we just got to the mall, it was close by. I get down and unbuckle Ali from her carseat. I take her hand in mine, and we walk towards the front entrance.

While walking i hear ali yell "DADDY!! papi! Mira es papi!!" She instantly slips out of my hand and goes running to him...WHILE STILL IN THE PARKING LOT.

I was battling between letting her go alone so Richard wouldn't see me...or risk everything. Of course i cant be irresponsible...so i have to go after her so Richard doesnt think im like so immature.

I go running after Ali and grab her hand fast and meanwhile i bump into rich. "Ow !" I say in pain. I have my "girls" you know. I cant go chest bumping hahah. So then richard says "melly? What are you doing here? I thought you were busy today?"

I hesitate on my words and look down at ali while breathing heavily. I say "oh um well im here for uh..a j-job interview..yea!" I see him staring into my eyes to see if im lying.

I quickly close them and kiss him on the lips quickly. I say "well babe um Ali wanted to see you but im kinda running late" richard picks up Ali, she has a big smile on her face and she is cuddling richards neck. She is so cute 💜

He says "well actually i can take Ali now ? Like im free for the day so yea i want to spend quality time with her. I was with you, but shawty is busy mhmm" i smile and say "oh ok, um also sorry about that babe i know..but i really am. See you Thursday!"

I start walking away and i feel rich grab my arm and says "eh eh eh not so fast beba, forgetting something?" I then say "uhh oh yea!" And i kiss his lips and smile. He smiled back and then i walk away after i said goodbye to Ali of course.

I get in the mall and quickly head to hot topic, i know he likes that shop so lets see what we find. While lerking i quickly remembered 'crap he is in this mall, chance is he comes here'

I try hurrying up and finding something, i quickly spot an awesome leather jacket he would love. It looked like this

I quickly grabbed it and payed, BOOYAH! one more gift to gooo ;)

So i quickly remembered an Instagram account he follows..sneakers. So i found the air Jordan store lol and when i went it, not gonna lie it took me a while to look around and find anything, but after alot of work..

I found the ones, boys. Tadaaaaa

Arent they perfect! Whewww took me time. Now all i have to do is get home and get everything ready for Tommorow.

I have alot of cooking to do. So while leaving the mall, i call up ro to see if shes all good.

M: 'hey did you get everything?'

R: 'yes, me and chris just need to get one more thing, the confetti. And we will be at your house in no time'

M: 'wheww ok thanks girl, ill see you then. I got everything i needed'

So we hung up and i got in my car, but now i remember, i need to call richard.

'wassup shawty' he says with his smooth voice 💜

I say 'hey babe um i was gonna leave the mall now but i was wondering if you wanted to stay with Ali or if you want me to take her?'

I then hear ali on the other end making noise haha, and he responds 'uh no its ok babe, ill take her because you've done alot already so ill let you have some peace'

'oh ok, pero ella no molesta jaja pues te veo despues mi amor' i said while turning my car on. I then drove off.

I cant wait to surprise Richard! But what has me dumbfounded is the fact he doesn't want to mention his birthday to me. But well maybe he doesn't like his bday?? 😐 hopefully thats not it.

Ha, he thinks im going to see him on thursday. "But mellyyyyyy" pfff i still remember that. I get home and got the stuff out of my trunk then went upstairs to my apartment.

I open up my door and get received by teddy wagging his tail and snooping around in my bags. "Hold on there buddy haha" i say.

I pick him up and put him in his cage and give him a toy to entertain him. I then look at the gifts i got rich, and smile. Little by little my smile fades away when i remember.."holy guacamole i didnt buy wrapping paper nor the box"

Well i guess it time to go again. Ughhhh. I call up ro again and say "hey girl, i forgot one more thing so i wont be here when you get here. Can you walk teddy for me? Thankss love youuu"

Before hanging up i hear her say "wait what??" I have already hung up and give a little chuckle.

Hey guys!! So sorry for the delay, this whole week i have been sick and feeling bad so i took a brake. But im back again even tho im a little sick, i feel much better. I hope you guys enjoy and i will continue the book till chp. 70 😊
