When we all got home it was already dark outside, i walk in and say "mom! Dad! Come here, there is a suprise" my dad yells "okay mija ya voyyyy"

My mom came first and says "hay dios mio! Angelito!!! Mijo como estas!!??"

He hugs my mom and smiles. He says "ma' estoy bien jaja yo te extrañaba a ustedes y a melody"

My mom kept talking so amused lol
"Hay mijo que guapo estas, y que grande! Vente para que comes"

"Hay gracias, y si no te molesta, esta bien."

I smile and say "nah you can eat and stuff overall your basically fam"

I see angel furrow his eyebrows down a little and says "yep. So melody i have alot to tell you"

I say "of course! Lets go upstairs and wait for dinner to be ready" before going upstairs i see my dad come downstairs.

"Hay angel! Papa como estas mijo? Tanto tiempo"

"Estoy bien! Me alegro verlos" said angel.

We went upstairs to wendys room so we could talk.
"Ok angel what did you want to talk about?"

Angel sat on wendys bed and says "well about my life, like, i met some girl and we dated for awhile but she cheated on me..."

"Oh dang! Really?? Are you ok? I wish i was there for you" i feel bad for him, poor angel :(

"It was tough, but i realised i love someone else" he said with a smile.

Im glad he is happy tho, "aw thats good. Sooo who's the lucky gal?? Dude i have alot to tell you too"

Angel scratched his head a little and says "well, she's super nice and sweet, she has a great personality, and is just so beautiful"

I can see the love in his eyes, i just hope this girl doesn't break his heart or she'll hear from me.

"Wow angel. Ask her out, she seems like a whole package. Haha so where does she live?"

"She used to live here in new york but not anymore. I dont know how she would feel about me tho"

I hug angel and say "never ever doubt yourself, if you doubt yourself she will too ok? You gotta be confident and be nice y cariñoso"

"Si us girls like confident guys" wendy says.

Then i get a call from richard,
"Hey whats up?" I instantly smiled all gushy like.

"Hey beba, did you get home alright? Erick just told me now that you were walking. Im so sorry, if i knew i wouldve dropped you two off"

"Oh its ok rich, one of my friends came along and he was with us. But thank you, i appreciate it" i said.

"He? Who's he? Richard said with a tone of jealousy.

"Chill, dont overthink celoso"

Richard says in an annoyed voice "Im not even jealous"

"Mnhjum ok haha well i have to go, ill talk to you later. Im busy"

"Ok, see you tommorow shawtie bye"
"Bye rich"

I put my phone away and angel asks "who was that?"

Wendy was quick to say "that was her crush"

I say "no. He is a friend and he was just calling to ask me something. Anyway-" angel touched my neck, and says

"Melody que te paso??"

I say "oh i burned myself with my curling iron. But im ok"

Wendy then said "to me it looks like a hickey but since your....well you. I dont think you would get a hickey from anyone hahaha"

I glare at wendy and say "first of all, i am glamorous. And second of all, its not a hickey"

I see angel look at it closely, i was kinda VERY uncomfortable. "Im sorry melody but those look like bitemarks"

"Angel i dont even have a boyfriend so um its not. Jake left me and yea....haha"

He sighed and says "im sorry about that, and ok. I belive you melody."

Dang i feel so guilty lying now. "Welllll i think dinner is ready so we should go downstairs to eat"

When i go downstairs i see dinner on the table and thank God because im starving.

While eating at the dinner table, my mom started to talk to angel.
"Y mijito, tienes novia?"

He chuckles in a nervous tone and says "ah, no, yo no tengo, pero tengo en vista una muchacha"

My mom then says the most embarrassing thing. "Ah pues mira, el novio de melody ya la dejo"

I almost choked on my rice and spit it out onto a napkin, "mami no quiero hablar de eso porfavor" i looked at her with a serious look.

She just laughs and i could see how badly angel wanted to laugh, and wendy was bursting out with tears saying "pff ahahaha melody put in the corner"

I just kept eating out of the embarrassment, "so Angel, tienes trabajo?" My dad asked.

"Si, trabajo en mecanica y estoy en la universidad" my dad then says "wow eso es bueno, y mira melody cuando tu vas para la universidad??"

I drink some water and say "i plan to next year, dad."

My mom then says "ah, y ese chico a quien nos mencionaste, de que el trabaja?"

"Oh um...he makes music and writes music i guess you can say"

"Musíc? Aja y cuando yo lo voy a conocer? Señorita si el no me caé bien..."

I say "mom, dad, you will like him. And he doesn't even live here. He lives in California, also i don't feel comfortable speaking of this"

My dad asks me what this mark on my neck was. "Hija, que es eso en tu cuello?"

"Its a burn" my mom then says
"Hija yo tenia tu edad, se los tricks y lies que se dicen. Voy hablar contigo ahorita"

I sigh and say "gosh mom its a burn" i lie too much 😬

So after dinner i hugged angel because he was gonna leave. "Hey angel, can i have your number before you leave? To stay in contact"

"Seguro que si! Toma" i got his number and he left.

So i went upstairs to go to sleep and bunk with wendy.
