 "Mmmm this roast lamb is so good Mrs Kingsleigh," Connor mumbled while wiping his mouth politely with a napkin.

"Oh im so glad you think so Connor It is Zoe's favourite and its a secret recipe that's been handed through generation to generation it might not seem like much but theres a few added things to make it bounce around on your taste buds," my mother told him.

As i was sitting through dinner listening to everyone talk this one question popped in my mind “whens the wedding?” I blurted out without thinking. Everyone stopped and my mother smiled and turned to me “3 weeks darling  but we were also thinking since its summer you could have the wedding on the beach”

“3 weeks!!!!” i shouted “i thought we would have it in like a few months, in the new year infact,” I told everyone.

Josh put his hand on top of mine which was under the table to calm me down.

“We know that but we thought we could get it out of the way while all your exams are over and its just before christmas so its perfect,”

Barbara also butted in saying “We have also bought your house for you 2 to live in and you will move in after school on tuesday so I suggest you start packing soon,”

I stood up “You expect me to move in with him?” I said pointing at Connor “We barely know each other and you’re also expecting me to get married in 3 weeks i only found out about all this this morning and now I’m moving out!” i yelled. I couldnt control myself I started seeing red then everything went black.

 “Zoe, little sis come on wake up for your big brother,” I heard Josh say to me. I opened my eyes but had to close them again because it was too bright.

“Now dont go back to sleep, come on open those big green eyes,” my brother my brother cooed.

I opened my eyes again to see my parents and Connors standing in the back talking. My little sister on her phone on the other side of the room and Connor sitting on the chair by the couch looking bored.

I then sat up and a glass of ice cold water was shoved in my face. “Here drink you’ll feel a lot better,” my brother told me.

So i grabbed the water and gulped it all down to the very last drop. Josh was right i do feel a lot better. All of a sudden it went straight to my head “Brain freeze!” I yelled. everyone stopped and turned to look at me.

“Umm what happened?” I asked.

Josh filled me in on everything while i just sat there nodding my head. Once he was finished i stood up and said goodbye to everyone and hopped up the stairs to my room to go to bed.

I changed out of my dress and put on my grey sweat pants with a black loose T-shirt and jumped into bed and started to think about what i’m going to say to my boyfriend Zack about all this. Hes going to be very understanding about it all, right?
