Neev Sage

I was trembling from what I saw Stephanie doing. I still saw that males disfigured body in my mind as I walked up to my sister and her mate. I smiled a bit at the thought of my sister having the mate she's always dreamed of." Raine, what you're letting Stephanie do...it's messed up. Like really messed up."

Her smile was gone in a blink and the air seemed to swell with heat." I. Will. Do. Whatever. I. Please." I took a step back at her quite but menacing tone.
Trina put a hand on Raine's shoulder," Calm down, he's just worried." She murmured, Raine glared at me but nodded breathing deeply." I'm worried about Stephanie too. Something's not right Raine."
I frowned, what had Stephanie done to set Trina'a alarm bells off too?
I turned back to Raine." I never agreed to torture others. I agreed to come here so my sister could be with her mate." I snapped at Raine," I didn't come here to see my friends and sister turn into monsters!"

Raine snarled at me her eyes flickering with evident rage." If you don't like it here then leave. I will not have my friend turn on me just because he's too afraid to do what needs to be done!"
" Raine, you need to calm down. We're still the same people we were a few months ago." I argued and turned to Trina but decided I wouldn't drag her into this. I turned and left, heading to my chambers when I walked into a demon and when our eyes briefly met, my heart almost stopped.

Raine Dark

I glared at Neev while he walked away, the only reason he's still breathing is that he has some form of importance and explaining a missing brother to Trina was going to be difficult. I will not have anyone undo all the hard work I put in too my plans." Raine, calm down he's only worried about us." She said again wrapping me in her arms, I sighed and started walking to the dungeons again. We were meet with shrikes of pain, and not just from the room where Stephanie was in.

"Stephanie, are you done?" I asked while walking into the room. She nodded looking up," I'm just about done." Trina walked over to the table looking at the male, her face paling at the site of his mangled body and left to go fetch some healers, he would need more than one...

I couldn't help the smile that crawled onto my face as I took in the blood-soaked floor, the hints of white indicating that bones had been reached, nor could I not give into the ecstasy of the strong smell of fear. That distinct smell was just so exquisite.
I could see the delight in Stephanie's eyes but when my mind brushed up agaisnt hers I was met with a wall.

Our eyes met and she smiled, I frowned and turned on my heel. She wasn't a big factor in any plans I made, she didn't seem to be a problem at first. I wasn't so sure now.

We walked to the main living room, Neev was already in there reading." Are you done half killing people?" He asked not even glancing up. I smirked my sharp teeth shimmering in the dim light.
" Oh, we've just begun." I replied softly walking past him and sitting down. He got up and left, I didn't care except he looked a bit suspicious, I could care less as long as he doesn't betray me I don't mind what he does.

I left the room, not being able to stop thinking about the male and the fear in his bloodshot eyes, as I took in the hall walls the demon I bumped into earlier popped into my head, he had been wearing a uniform, and he was a bit taller than me. His eyes weren't black. They were like Raine's white sclera and red pupils within them and his skin was grey, almost white and he'd had ears, animal ears. He wasn't a full demon that was for sure. Our meeting at been too brief for me to figure anything about him out. A sound brought me back to reality," Who's there?" I said into the hallway. I took up a defensive stance balancing on the balls of my feet.
" Calm down." I heard a deep voice with the undertone of velvet, say, it sent a shiver down my spine.

The demon from earlier stepped into the light and I almost gaped as he walked up to me, I could meet his eyes evenly even as he towered over me just slightly." Why are you here?" He asked circling me.
I looked at him, really looked and my heart dropped." I am Princess Raine's friend." I state not removing my eyes from him.
" Oh, I see. I am General Safire, but you can call me Thaman, seeing that you're Princess Raine's friend...and maybe something more."

I nodded," I'm Neev, what legion do you command?" Thaman looked surprised that I asked.
He raised a brow and replied," All those thoughts in your head and that's your first question? Well then I shouldn't disappoint now should I? I am the General of the Land Demon Legion, but in human terms, we would be the cavalry or in more simple terms the marching and on horseback part of the army." Thamam explained trying to dumb it down as if I was a toddler. I just rolled my eyes but let him continue talking.
I could listen to him all day and I hated that. This was a problem. I couldn't get trapped like this, not yet.

Raine Dark

After dinner, I asked Stephanie what the Fae male said." Oh, he told me that they are working with humans..." she looked down at the note pad." Too...get rid of demons in the mortal world. Sam was a target because when he was asked to join them and tell them your secrets, he refused and claimed not to know anything." Stephanie flipped the page." The heir to the Rose line is Prince Zen Rose, a Fae-witch."

I nodded pitying the poor soul that was probably now dead. If my orders were obeyed properly this time that is.

"Stephanie, can you get any more info out of the fae?" I asked looking up at her." I broke him...sorry." she apologized but didn't sound guilty. It made me think a bit about what Neev said." Guys, I forgot to mention that I am a witch." Trina and I both snapped our heads towards Stephanie." Goodnight." she left the room leaving us in stunned silence.

My suspicions have been proven correct. I mean she hasn't physically changed since I meet her and her skills in torture. No human should posses such skills, at least not in this century." Stephanie, wait!" Trina stood to go after her but I stopped her shaking my head. I didn't need more drama at the moment.

Stephanie Philips

After I told them I left, not wanting to see their reactions. I will face them about it...just not right now. I head to bed and change crawling into the soft silver sheets. Well, at least now I don't have to bleach my hair to look grey anymore and can let it grow out into it's natural white colour.
Those faeries would probably be on guard but since they were my friends and more importantly, Raine's friends and mate.
The word left a foul taste in my mouth.
Oh how cruel the world is to make someone long for another fated to someone else.
