This chapter has some rather disturbing stuff in it, I have warned you so no complaining if you have a weak stomach...

Trina Sage

Raine was in a mood when she returned from the meeting with her mother and no matter how much I asked what was said she wouldn't tell me, and that put me on edge. She started training harder, she'd run until she heaved her breakfast up and knocked every opponent unconscious, no matter how much I asked she wouldn't take me to a single meeting with her council.

I finished with my run, for once my food stayed in my stomach, and went my magic training." Stephanie, what am I learning today?" I walk to my desk and check on a poison that takes a week to become deadly."Raine, today you aren't learning a thing till you tell me what's been going on."

I can't trust them even if I want to, it's killing me to see Trina look so hurt, I can't tell her there might be a traitor, what would she say if she knew I didn't trust her fully?" Trina nothing is going on, now where is Stephanie?" I don't bother looking up at her while I write down the progress of my cure and poisons.
" Raine, I'm not leaving ti-"
I cut her off," Trina. Get. Out. If you're not here to learn or help, you are dismissed." I snap as Stephnie walks in.

Trina tears up but walks out." Did I miss something interesting?" I shake my head at Stepanie and start practicing shapeshifting. I can now turn into multiple small animals, insects, and fairly large beasts, but it takes a lot of my energy. My telekinesis isn't on the same level as my siblings but I've made up for it with spellcasting.
I still need a familiar. It's on my to-do list to find one.

Stephnie summons wind and attacks, I deflect with earth shooting fire aiming to knock her over but I was somehow predictable and she blocked with a wall of water. Sadly we could not use the elements as freely as fae, for a witch you must be surrounded by the elements you wish to use. A fae can easily create the element they wish to use, obviously they can only create the element their bloodline has.

I turn into an raven and dive for Stephanie, dodging rocks, ice, strong bursts of wind and fireballs. As I get closer I turn into a moth swooping over her making it more difficult to hit me. I land and turn back to normal grabbing a sword I left leaning against a tree, and run at my opponent who has her staff at the ready.

She dismissed me...She told me to leave." Neev, she snapped at me! She made me leave as if I was the cause of the problem!" I was in tears by my brother, I don't care about my pride at this point. It hurt to know my mate refused to tell me what she was feeling, that she didn't trust me enough to say what she was feeling.

Neev rubbed my back reassuringly as he looked around the room looking preoccupied with his own thoughts.

I invited my siblings to come hunting with me, and not with weapons, they agreed happily." Sister, are we hunting lower-level demons?" I nodded at Aliki's question when I was younger I found it diabolic to hunt lower ranks of your own kind, but eventually, it became very entertaining. My current mood wishes to slit throat after throat, so that is what I am going to do.

We went to the forest on the eastern side of the castle and started tracking Alika's favorites of the nightmare-inducing demons, her favorite was the ones that trapped you in your own worst nightmare until you lost your sanity, whilst they feed off your terrified screams. We spotted a pack of them near a portal to the mortal world. They were an inky black, their clawed hands the size of a deer's head, they had black depthless eyes that seemed to devour the light itself and their stick-thin bodies resembled twigs. We crept up on them surrounding them within a triangle like formation.
