Prince Zen and Axel sat on a bench outside the mall each holding a large cheeseburger, Judith munching on chicken nuggets next to Axel." I still don't understand why humans don't just live off of these." Axel chuckled looking at the prince his blue eyes bright as he stuffed fries in his mouth.

"Zen, unlike us humans don't burn fat in like seconds. Their bodies are different remember?" The prince nodded and swallowed. Humans were slower, mortal, and lazy, at least in Zen's opinion, he loved them but more in a helpless animal sort of way. The prince stood and put his junk into a recycling bin." Let's go now, Axel, these humans keep looking at me oddly..." The prince's friend chuckled finding it funny that the prince was that oblivious to the fact that he looked attractive.
" Zen. You're hot. You're tall, dark and mysterious. You probably make ever female out here drool." Judith huffed making Axel snort.
" He's as dense as they come Judy, leave the clueless moron alone."
The prince scowled at the two rolling his eyes at their snickering.

Stephanie stepped through the portal to the mortal world, right into Raine's room." Oh wifi, how I've missed you!" The witch sang as she dropped onto the dark blue bed in the corner of the room. Raine followed closing the portal." We are here only to stream movies then we're going back, okay?" Stephanie nodded going into the hall and to the kitchen. Raine walked to the lounge and started cleaning.

After hours of cleaning, the pair ordered a load of junk food then picked a movie." Frozen 2 or that Marble Hornets movie: Always Watching?" Raine asked not the kind of person to like jump scares, unless she was with someone she trusted. Stephanie moaned about hating musicals and so Always Watching was chosen.

As the pair sat eating fries and pizza, sushi being on the way for delivery, Raine jumping at some parts, Stephanie snickered at the sadistic demon that can kill and torture without a second thought but yelped at small jump scares. Raine's face flushed in embarrassment," Stephanie Philips if you tell anyone I'm scared of horror movies I'll never talk to you again." The half breed threatened as the witch giggled darkly.

Even though they had a war to wage and plans to make, Stephanie wanted to comfort the demon-witch, she'd locked her heart away when Raine had looked at Trina with longing and want, but now the truth was out and Stephanie refused to take advantage of Raine's vulnerability even though she wanted to so badly. I'd rather be a good friend than a sad regret...

Raine snuggled up against Stephanie hiding her face whenever she got scared, barely anyone ever saw this side to Raine, she was only like this around Sam, Stephanie, and Trina. The witch smiled as she pulled the demon closer sighing as her heart clenched painfully. How had she grown attached to a half-breed witch that was kind to fae?
She really had chosen the worst possible option of them all and the worst part of it all was that Raine was oblivious to her feelings, unaware that she'd felt this was for so long.

Trina Sage made her way into the city of earth demons, Neev at her side and Thaman leading the trio. Her brother had a bright light in his eyes." T, this is where my mate grew up..." He murmured as he looked at everything trying to take everything in at once. Thaman saw what his mate was doing and chuckled softly.

Thaman nudged Neev." We can't stay long but I'm sure we can do a tiny bit of sightseeing." Neev grumbled looking at his sister who hadn't smiled for days now and nodded his agreement. The group checked in at the inn, nowhere near the busy part of the city, tipping the innkeeper handsomely to not inform anyone of the presence of the high two fae.

The fae princess complained about being tired so she remained at the inn that evening when Thaman took Neev out to go see a little bit of the city." I may have grown up with strict rules and little time to do as I please, but when I did...I spent it hear." The two strode into a lush green park with a large lake in the middle surrounded with trees and stone paths." It's not that grand but this was my calm place, it still is when I visit." The general looked over at his mate when there wasn't a reply but ended up chuckling as he took in Neev's awestruck face.
