The Ultimate Duo - Part 1

Hello! I'm trying to write and release as many chapters as I can before the school year starts because I am fairly sure I won't have any time to do so once I go back. Take care of yourselves readers! 

Todoroki's POV

     Todoroki took a deep breath and walked through the doors of the Hosu City Hero Agency. A week prior to his arrival, a request had been sent, asking Endeavor to send his son to track down and arrest the villain, Blindside, before an upcoming festival. The only catch was that he'd have to work with another pro hero to do so. He sighed, he hadn't been able to cooperate with anyone on a team since graduating UA, and hoped he wouldn't screw anything up.

"Hello sir, are you Shoto Todoroki?" asked a lady sitting behind a desk.

He cleared his throat, "Yes... I'm here for the case regarding Blindside."

She nodded, "Alright, just go to the fourth floor and it's the second door on the left." 

     He thanked her and made his way to the elevator across the room. Following her instructions, he quickly found the door and knocked, only to be answered by another lady with blonde hair. After basic introductions, she opened the door wider to reveal who he'd be working with and... his jaw dropped when he saw who it was. 

"Y-Y/N?!" he'd asked still not believing what he was seeing.

"Todo?!" you replied, your eyes widening. 

The lady looked at the both of you, "So I see you two know each other already?" 

You scratched the back of your neck nervously, "Yeah... we go way back..." 

She smiled, "Oh good, that means I won't have to brief you on each other." 

     She then had the both of you sit down while she launched into an explanation about the mission and details. Todoroki sighed, he had already done his research, so for the most part he just tuned her out and stared at you. You'd changed so much since he last saw you. Your (E/C) eyes seemed more vibrant and your features more sharpened. Your costume was bold and flashy, even though you'd kept the hood and mask. You sat with your back straight, in a way made you look confident and more sure of yourself. Even the way you spoke had changed! Your voice was unwavering, and you didn't stutter. Almost nothing had remained of the shy Y/N he had befriended and da-

"Mr. Todoroki? Are you listening?" asked the lady. 

He quickly tore his eyes away from you and bowed as a blush formed on his face, "My deepest apologies. I was just... looking at Y/N. It's been years since I've seen her last." 

You shot him a small smile and also bowed, "I'm also really sorry miss. He was like this back in high school too. I guess he hasn't changed one bit since I last saw him." 

She chuckled, "Oh it's okay, no worries you two. I know what it's like to see an old friend. All I ask is that you pay attention for these last few minutes and then you can head out and begin your mission." 

     Both of you nodded and sat back down, with Todoroki being careful not to let his eyes wander again. 

Time Skip

Y/N's POV

"Sooo... how's life been?" you asked trying to fill the silence. 

     Both of you had made it through the briefing and were now sitting on a rooftop scanning the skyline of the city. You still couldn't believe, that out of all the pro heroes, you'd been assigned to work with him. It totally boggled your mind.
