"I'm not going anywhere with you! I have my daughter-!"

"A bastard child, Kathryn!" Min urged, desperately trying to get Kath to understand. Her nails were digging into Kath's arm, Teddy holding onto his daughter's hands so tightly that it was causing her pain and making it impossible for her to escape. Their legs locked her in place because they were so close to her, she couldn't thrash around to try and free herself since the bassinet holding her sleeping baby was right beside her. She couldn't risk knocking it.

"Get off me!" Kath's tears fell harder down her face and she flinched when she felt Teddy be ripped from her and she looked up to see DJ. He'd grabbed Teddy by his shirt, pulling him up from the couch and he shoved him across the room, pure rage in his expression.

"Let go of my fiancée, before I call the police for assault." DJ threatened Min and he watched as Min took her hands off of Kath, but she refused to stand up from the couch.

"Kath is our daughter... you've destroyed her - turned her into a mother out of wedlock, you've destroyed her!" Min blamed DJ, anger in her voice too but Kath stood up from the couch, ignoring the pain that shot through her entire body from moving fast.

"DJ hasn't destroyed me! He's done nothing but loves me since the moment we met, and that's more than I can ever say for you or Teddy." Kath growled.

"I am your father-" Teddy scolded, but Kath whipped her head around to look at him.

"No, you're not... my father is coming over for dinner tonight to celebrate the birth of his granddaughter, and that isn't you. My Mom was in the room when Camille was born, holding my hand and assuring me that when I was bleeding and terrified that it was normal... I've been a Mom since I was sixteen years old, only now I'm a mother with a child. My son died inside of me... I buried him with my own two hands at the age of sixteen and you weren't there... how dare you come into my home now and act like you care about saving me from my sins? It sounds to me like you both need to have a long look in the mirror at your own sins... isn't lying a sin, Teddy? Isn't neglect a sin? It's interesting that you come here and call me a sinner, insult my children and my partner... I have nothing to say to either of you, except that if I ever see you anywhere near me or my family again... I'll call the police. Expect a letter from my lawyer, I want to make sure I have a decent restraining order." Kath breathed, her voice completely calm and collected. DJ wanted to burst with pride that she had finally stood up to her parents after years of suffering, but he kept himself still and quiet with a hand on her hip to assure her that he was right behind her both metaphorically and physically.

"Kath... baby, please... think of Camille! She needs her grandparents-" Min got up from the couch, coming closer to her but DJ pulled Kath back so that Min would leave her alone and Kath stood in front of her fiancée, but her eyes always went to the bassinet to make sure that Camille was safe - she was still sound asleep, completely unaware of what was happening around her as she dreamed.

"Don't you worry about my child, don't even think about her - ever. She has her grandparents, she has her Aunt and Uncle... she has us. She'll never have you and because of that, she'll be the happiest little girl in the world." Kath said. "Now, get out of my house." She ordered, but her voice was still completely calm. She gasped as DJ suddenly moved, but her eyes widened when she saw that Teddy had swung for him but DJ had gotten out of the way and grabbed his arm, twisting it around his back. Teddy cried out with pain, being forced to walk by DJ and the younger man threw Teddy out of the house and onto the driveway, Min rushing after her husband as Kath stood by DJ.

"Thank you for giving me an excuse to now involve the police. Stay away from my family." DJ growled, shutting and locking the door before he turned to Kath, kissing her forehead. "I'm so proud of you." He breathed and Kath pecked his lips.

"We should call the police now... before they can do anything else. Did he hit you?" Kath asked as they walked back into the living room together. Kath sat on the couch by the bassinet again, doting on Camille as DJ picked up his phone.

"No, I saw it coming and got out of the way. Is Camille okay?"

"She's fine... she'll never see them again, none of us will." Kath breathed, leaning down and kissing Camille's head as she listened to DJ make the phone call to the police - she felt nothing as she heard him report what happened. She didn't regret making the call, she didn't regret asking DJ to request an officer come to the house to discuss a restraining order.

She'd do anything to protect her family.
