I'm not really lost

Chapter 4

Why am I cold and wet? I woke up to see Matt standing over me, pouring water on me. "Do you like that?" he asked me.I stood up fast and stared him right in the face. He jumped a bit, but stood his ground. "Hope you slept well that's the last one you'll got in a while." Matt said. "What are talking about?" I asked him. "You're going on a trip, almost around the jungle. Have fun." Matt said as he pushed me. "What's going on here?" I heard in a loud tone. I turned to see Felix standing there, looking down at Matt. "Bullying our lost girl again, I see. Do you really want to do that?" He said talking down at Matt. "Ya, I'll kick her ass if I have to. She's a girl we don't need girls on the island. We're called the lost boys for a reason." Matt said. "Really you'll kick her ass. Oh like you did last night?" Felix asked him. Matt when silent and his head twitched. He walked away from us and I watched as he bumped into a little lost boy.

"Come on and keep up." Felix said. "What? Where are we going?" I asked him. "Pan said someone is coming the Neverland tomorrow." Felix said somewhat quite. "How far do we have to go?" I muttered. "We'll get there before they will." Felix said. "Pan doesn't know who it is?" I asked. "No, he doesn't." He said. "Why am I coming with you?' I muttered. Felix turned around and faced me. "Do you really want Matt to bug you? Cause if you do, I could just leave you here." he said to me and I shook my head. "That's what I thought." he said as he started walking again.

I kept up with him as we walked and I could smell, salt? We had came to the beach. Felix stopped for a moment and I stopped next to him. "You see that small part of beach way over there?" Felix asked as he pointed. "All the way over there?" I said, pointing with him. "We have to go all the way over there?" I asked him. "Yes ma we do." he said, giving me a quick smile. "Ha, you smiled. You can smile." I said, pointing at him. He frowned at me, giving a cold look. "Come o-" he was cut off by something wrapping around his ankle and pulling him down. His club flow out of his hand and he tried to grab anything. I ran after him as grabbed a rock sticking out. "What the hell is that?' I asked him. "Mermaids." he shouted as I saw the woman's body come out from the water. Her eyes fixed on Felix as she tried to pull him in. I pulled out my dagger and cut the rope thing on his ankle.

"Got it" I said to him as he pulled himself out of the water. "Get out of the-" he yell was cut off as I was pulled into the water. I was pulled deep in and I slowly opened my eyes to see mermaids all around me. The one grabbed my dagger, before another came at me. Another hit me in the back with her fin. I'm being pulled down, if I don't do something soon, I'm going to die. I watched as one came for me, but I put my hands up, blasting her away. The mermaid who had my arm let go of me,before I could blast her. I slowly looked up to see one come at me. I tried to kick her, but she moved before I could get her. "Drown her." someone said. "Kill her now." I heard. "No, stop." I found myself saying. One looked at me for a moment. "You don't tell us what to do." she said. "Fine." I said. I blasted her hard, taking a lot out of me. She was far from me now and some other swam over to her. One pulled something out and cut my palm. I grabbed my palm, but stared at her. She looked scared and swam away from me. I looked down at my palm, before my eyes started to shut. No, not now. Please no. tried to swim, but I didn't get that close to shore, or enough for me to stand. Screw me for- being- short. I felt something grab me and start to pull me out. Is it too late?

I opened my eyes as I felt the water slowly lower. I looked up to see Felix pulling on my hood. I started coughing, some water and felt the wet sand touch my body. I felt my body hit the ground, somewhat hard. "Ow" I said dryly. Felix looked down at me as I started shaking. I throw off my cloak. "What were you thinking?" he asked me. "Pan said if anything happens to me, you pay for it, but if anything happens to you, it would be on me. If you die, I'm die soon after. I don't know much about Neverland." I said. "I could have handled myself." he said. "Oh really? Cause I had to use my magic to get them away from me." I stopped. This it pointless, yelling at him. He won't listen, or he will, but he doesn't care. I saved his life and he mad at me. "Come on." He said pulling me with him into the wood. "We'll have to make camp." he added.

I sat there staring at my hand as Felix was making a fire. My cloak was hanging up, drying on a tree. I was leaning on a fallen tree, shaking. I looked up to see amber's light up and began to burn the wood. I felt the heat, but I was still cold. I watched as Felix set something he found over the fire. I watched the fire dance and the meat slowly cook. I looked back down at my hand, the cut still showing. I saved his life and he's ungrateful. God I'm a pain, I saved him,but almost killed myself. That wouldn't have saved him for long. I felt the heat on my side. I looked up to see Felix sitting there, his eyes staring at my hand. I heard him sigh as he thought of bandages, because they poofed into his hands. He grabbed my hand and touched my cut. I hissed in pain and he pulled his hand away from the cut. He slowly covered my palm as I watched his eyes, focused. He looked up at me for a moment, he held it longer then I thought he would. "What are you looking at?" he asked. "You." I said. Oh god, shut up. "Th-thank you." I said to him. He nodded as he slowly let go of my hand. "You're still shaking." he said, but it was mostly to himself. He got up and pulled the meat away from the fire and the stick out of the ground. He handed a huge piece out to me, before he sat back down.

"Look" he started. I turned to look up at him. "I get anger a lot of the time, but very rarely do I say something out of line." He said to me. I looked down at my feet, grabbing them, trying to keep warm. "But I did to you. You were trying to save me and uh." He stopped, his eyes still looking at the fire. He cleared his throat as I felt my body shake. "No one's tried to save me like that before." He said. "Well, get use to it. We're each other's life line. If one dies so does the other." I muttered, but he heard me and nodded. I felt a gust of wind almost blow right thru me. I heard my own teeth chatter as I hugged myself. I was pulled and an arm when around me. I felt the heat from Felix and let my legs go. "Thank you." I said thru my chattering teeth. "Uh huh." Was all he said.
