I woke up, slowly, and rubbed my head. I looked over to see Felix laying there. I crawled over to him and started to shake him. "Wake up, wake your ass up." I said down to him. "This is a nice way to wake up." I heard him say. I leaned back as I felt my face heat up. "Where is he?" Felix asked me. "He ran away." I said, rubbing my head. I watched as Felix stood up and looked around. "How did he get away?" Felix asked. I raised my arm, reminding him of the cuff. "Of all days." He muttered. I pulled my cape around me as I felt a gust of wind. "Come on, we should look for him." Felix said to me. I looked down at his footprints and started to follow them.
"This way." Felix said to me. "I was going that way." I muttered. I heard Felix chuckle behind me, before he walked beside me. I looked down to see two of the lost boys. I ran over to them and checked if they were breathing. "Their breathing." I muttered. "The dark one." Felix said, looking around. He grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the boys. "We should get back to camp." He said to me. I looked around, there was no one around us. "Felix, we have to find them." I said to him. "The trail ends here.. They could be anywhere on the island." he said. I looked up at him for a moment and he looked down. "Don't give me that look." he said. I stopped as he pulled me to camp.
"Like who?" I heard Henry say. "You'll find out soon enough, I promise." Pan said to him. Pan looked over at us, before he got up and walked over. "What? I know that look. What happened?" Pan asked. "Baelfire. I'm afraid he got away." Felix said to him. "Well, then why didn't you get him back?" Pan asked. "I tried. I followed his trail and found two of our sentries knocked out... By a sleeping spell." Felix said to him. "The Dark One. So father and son have been reunited." Pan said. "They'll be coming for the boy. We should move him somewhere safe."Felix said. "Now, now, Felix. Where's your sense of adventure? We can't end the party when the real fun is about to begin." Pan said to him. Felix walked away from Pan and Pan pulled me over to him. "Why didn't you try to stop him?" he asked me. "If you haven't forgotten, you put this thing on my arm." I said, showing him my wrist. Pan let out a sigh as he stared at Henry. "If you haven't done what you have done. This won't be on your wrist." Pan said to me. I stared him in the eyes for a moment, before to walked away from him.
I walked back to the tent and saw Matt and Mark standing there. "Hey, there she is." Matt said. I stared at the both of them for a moment. "Hey, are you okay?" Matt asked. "I'm fine." I said to them. "Is she lying, I can't tell." Mark asked Matt. "you just say whatever comes to your head don't you?" Matt asked him. Mark looked at him for a moment, before he tried to punch him. Matt ducked and moved out of the way, grabbing Mark's arm. Mark stared at him for a moment, pulling his arm away. "But, really are you alright." Matt asked. "I said I'm fine. So I'm fine." I said to them, walking away.
I walking into the tent and sat down. I looked up to see Felix standing there for a moment. He was passing, looking unsure of what to do. "Felix?" I asked him, walking closer. "Jackie." He said, grabbing me in a hug. "Felix..." I stopped as I felt my feet leave the ground. This is about what Pan said to him. Pan made Felix feel like a failure. Our great leader, bullying everyone he can. I felt my feet touch the ground and I looked up at Felix. "Felix, you did the best you could." I said to him. "No, I didn't." He said to me. "Yes, you did." I said, looking him in the eyes. "No, I di- I was looking after- I was worried about you and- If something happen to you- I don't know what I'd-I was worried." Felix said to him. I stared him in the eyes, trying to calm myself down.
I took his hands, forced him to look at me and not the floor. "Please don't think about it too much." I said to him. "Felix." I heard Pan yell and I let out a sigh. His grip tightened for a moment, before he let my hands go. I looked up at him as he threw up his hood. He grabbed him club and stopped looking right at me. He grabbed my cheek and kissed my forehead. "Don't forget me." he said, jokingly. I stared up at him, feeling my face heat up. He smiled at me and he turned.
He walked out and feel to my knees. Could my face get any redder? Could my heart beat any faster? Could my smile be any bigger. "Jack- this is a nice change." I looked up to see Mark standing there. I felt someone pull me up, I turned to see Matt. "Hey guys." I said, still on cloud nine. "Why are you smiling like that?" Mark asked me. "Did he-" Matt stopped. "My forehead." I muttered. Matt eyes widen as Mark looked at us. "He what- kissed you, your forehead." Mark said. Matt looked at him for a moment, before Mark ducked. I sat down on the bed and stared up at both of them, before they passed out.
I could hear Pan, talking to someone. I poked my head out to see Pan talking to the dark one and Baelfire. I slipped my head back in and moved Mark off of Matt and set them both on their backs. I walked back to the bed and laid down, closing my eyes. Whatever happens right now, I couldn't care. Pan, Henry, the lost boys, they won't in my head right now.
