Chapter eight

"Can you give a description?" My father asked and the guard nodded and began describing their appearance "Send them to our strongest dungeon with our strongest guards around them." My father said "Yes King." The guard replied before walking away "Who are they?" I asked "They are friends of your mother. The woman and man were with her when I met her in the bar. I wouldn't be surprised if they are helping each other." He replied "Ok, I want to deal with them." I say walking out of the room not waiting for a reply. I am tired of my parents and I'm going to find out everything for myself. I walk to the end of the hallway before I feel someone grab ahold of my arm and by the sparks it's Luke "Let me come with you, they could harm you." I sighed shaking my head "No, I already let you come here with me. Your not going to the dungeon with me. Plus it stinks... like really bad." I say walking away from him and to the dungeon, I walk in and down the stairs and through the corridor.

"Princess." The guards say bowing "Hello, please don't call me that." I say smiling lightly before I walk in front of the cell they are guarding to see a women who has dark brown hair with bright green eyes and a man who has dyed blue hair and dull blue eyes "It's a pleasure to finally meet you Paige." The woman says in a sweet voice "Well I wish I could say the same. Now let's get the point. What do you want and why are you here?" I question and she smiles sadly as the man just groans, it seems he is in pain. "What did you do to him?" I question the guards "We did nothing, he was like this when we found them." One guard said and I nodded turning to the women "What happened?" I question "Your mother, she put a spell on him making him sore all over and few nothing but pain.." she says looking at her mate it seems "And because he is in pain you are too?" I ask and she nods telling me that they really are mates, I did the only thing I could think of and I teleported into the cell and walking over to him eyeing them both suspiciously "Princess I don't think that's a goo-" one of the guards began "Shut your mouth, I know what I am doing and don't think for a second that I won't put you on your ass if you tell me differently." I say getting frustrated at them calling me Princess "Yes ma'am" they say and I roll my eyes before bending down in front of the man putting my hand on his head.

I say a spell and he relaxes before sighing in relief "What did you do?" The woman asks "I removed the spell of course." I say and she smiles "Thank you." I nod "Ok now please explain everything to me." I say and she nods as I sit on the old cot that was their bed "Well we went to go visit your mother and her and your step father looked as if they were crazy and had been rolling in the woods... she told us her plan to make a army of rogues and attack your mates pack. Well when I told her it was wrong and that I was going to report her which was stupid on my part, she became angry and cast a spell on my mate John. She tried to spell me but I had drank some tea that has some herb in it that stopped spell from working on me." She says and I nod looking into her eyes but I saw nothing but the truth. I nodded smiling thankfully before I teleported out of the cell grabbing the keys from the guard and I unlocked the cell opening the door "Your free to go." I say and she looks shocked before smiling and hugging me "Thank you, you are a very nice young woman." She says before she grabs her mates hand and running off afraid that she will be put back into the cell again but she stops halfway and turns to me "Be careful, she said she is almost complete with her army." She says before continuing running.

I decide to help her and teleport her out of the territory so she won't get captured again, I walk upstairs and out the dungeon and I am created with Luke standing there "What happens are you ok?!" He asks and I nod "Yes but we need to get back to the pack my mother is creating an army of rogues and is going to attack." I say and he looks worried and shocked before nodding. We run upstairs to my dad and I explain to him everything and how I let the people go, he was mad at first before he realized what I did was right when I told him how I can tell when people are lying or not.

I said goodbye to my father and Lia before me and Luke left, we began to feel hungry halfway back to the house so we stopped at the dinner "Hello what can I get you to drink ?" The waitress asks me "I would like a sweet tea." I say still looking at the menu "Same thing" Luke says and I hear her walk away "She seemed to like you a lot." I hear Luke say "What do you mean?" I question "She was smiling the whole time and was looking at you" He says "Well I will greet her when she comes back." I say finally picking what I want "Here are your drinks and you Paige want a x-large shredded chicken burrito." She says and my head snaps up to look at her as I finally recognize her voice "Amelia!!" I say jumping over Luke and making Amelia fall to the floor with me hugging her "Paige!!" She says mocking me, I roll my eyes "How have you been?" I ask and she smiles "I found my mate, and I see you did too." She says and I nod blushing "What about you?" She asks me as we ignore the people staring, I sigh "I'm better but it took a while..." I say and she nods sadly.

Amelia was my best friend and still is but I haven't seen her in years, she was basically a sister to me after all my parents kidnapped her and made her their maid along with me being their maid "Well I'm glad you finally got away from them like I did.." she says smiling sadly and I nod before getting up helping her up before I make Luke move so I can sit back down "This is my best friend Amelia, Amelia this is my mate Luke." I say and she smiles "Nice to meet you." She says "You too." He reply's "Well I better get back to work" Amelia says before taking Lukes order and walking off. After a few minutes she comes back with our food and a piece of paper "Paige, call me. We really need to catch up and hang out." She says and I smile nodding and taking the paper from her before she walks away.

After we eat and we pay we leave after I say goodbye to Amelia and we drive to the pack house and when we arrive at the gates there are no guards. Weird. We open the gates before we drive down the long drive way and we stop at the end of the drive way and we see chaos, people are fighting there are rogues.

A lot of them.
