After being chained up again, Willow decided it was time to sleep for the rest of the little time she had.
"Tomorrow," the Doctor said.
"What?"
"I've figured something out, so we get to leave tomorrow."
"Oh good. I can't stand seeing that king's face," Willow sighed.
"The whole personal space thing was pretty clever, I'll say. Now all we have to do is hope he doesn't research Earthen culture."
Willow laughed softly. "Yeah, although it's not very far from the truth."
The cell was extremely dark, so all they could do was listen to each other's voices. Willow liked the sound of his voice. It could be sharp and terrifying, but also comforting and warm.
"Goodnight Doctor," she whispered.
"Night," he responded.

The morning came too quickly for Willow's liking."Rise and shine, sweetheart," the Doctor said, prodding Willow's back with something.
Willow groaned. She wasn't exactly a morning person. "Five more minutes…" she muttered, rolling over to push away whatever was poking her. When she opened her eyes, she was met with a large and decaying bone.
She screamed, but immediately clamped her mouth shut. Willow clenched her teeth. "What the hell, Doctor!"
"Sorry," he said innocently. "I didn't have any other way to wake you up. Found this in the corner of the room and thought, why not?"
"You could've just waited for me to actually get up!"
"I could've yeah," he tilted his head and scratched his sideburns. "But I missed your company. The rest of the night was quite boring."
"You're telling me that you stayed up the whole night?"
"Time Lords don't need to sleep very often."
"Lucky you," Willow said, smiling at her friend. "I'm a bit hungry though. Are we gonna eat or am I just gonna starve here?"
A door out of their view opened, and King Talcone strolled through. "Good morning my love!"
"Here we go again," Willow grumbled. Slightly impatient, she immediately cut to the chase. "Look Talcone, I'm a bit hungry right now. Is there anything we can eat?"
Talcone smiled. "Of course! I shall have breakfast be prepared just for you."
Talcone raised his eyebrows.
"...and my friend?" Willow pushed a little more. Talcone stared at the Doctor with fire in his eyes and he nearly snapped when the Doctor did a little princess wave at him smugly.
"Fine. Sure. He can come," Talcone pointed to the guard that stood beside him. He unlocked the gate with a key that the Doctor could only assume was a spare, since he had taken the original.
"Thank you, sir," the Doctor said to the guard. He winked at Willow and passed Talcone.
They waited for a few minutes before the smell of food filled their noses in the dining hall. A long bronze cart was pushed out from a swinging door, and it was piled full of a variety of items.
"I'll have to admit, that food looks so damn good," Willow whispered to the Doctor.
The Doctor drew in a breath. "I'm not really hungry at the moment."
