"Yes," Willow said. Her breath had slowed, and the world was moving at the same pace it was supposed to be. "And please let the Doctor go."

Talcone grinned as he slid the ring onto her finger. "Sure thing," he replied happily. "But he must be restrained after every sunrise. He'll start to bother me too much after that."

The burly guard who was holding the Doctor dropped him to the ground. Right as soon as he was freed, the Doctor ran to Willow and embraced her.

"Oh god I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." His shaking hands touched her curly hair, as if it would reverse what had been done.

"I had to. It was the obvious choice," she said in a somber tone.

The Doctor cupped her face in his hands, not caring about King Talcone or anyone else in the room.

"Willow Watterson…"  he said, gently pulling her close. He leaned in, and Willow closed her eyes. Was he about to…?

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion when he whispered in her ear. "You need to read more when you bind yourself like that," he subtly tapped her ring. "So remember to look left on those shelves," he said, before Talcone grew impatient and had the guard take the Doctor away to his cell.

As he exited the room, Willow kept her eyes on the Doctor, and he did the same. Remember to look left echoed in her head, over and over again until the Doctor was out of sight.

Talcone clasped his hands. "Now you are all mine," he whispered obsessively, caressing Willow's face. He turned around and the attention of the servants zoned in on him.

"The wedding shall be first thing tomorrow. I want this to be extravagant and expensive! If I don't see what I like, I'll have all of your heads! Understand?"

The servants nodded their heads and they ran out of the room quickly.

Willow warily looked down at the massive ring on her finger as she sat in silence with the king. The moment she got out of here, Willow decided, she was going to cash this ring at a pawn shop. This thought reminded her of her only means of escape: the Doctor.

She needed to talk to the Doctor about what the hell he meant when he said 'look left'. Maybe it was a way to get out of here, maybe he was speaking just to speak (which he did quite often).

Out of the corner of her eye, Willow saw Talcone reach for her hand, so she swiftly put her back to him and requested she wanted to visit the Doctor. If it were possible, Talcone's face turned even redder with anger.

"You don't need to care about him anymore. You have me!"

Willow almost laughed at this so called 'king'. He was childish and a terrible leader. And although the urge to kill was in his DNA, he still did it for stupid reasons.

Willow had to act quickly. This man was like a volcano, ready to blow at any moment. She warily put her hands on his shoulders and looked into his black eyes.

"Please," she said, giving him a forced smile. "I just want to see him for a bit… that's all."

Talcone flushed a deeper red before regaining his composure and nodding his head.

"You may," he said. "You are so good at this kind of thing, Willow. This is what proper women are supposed to do!"

Willow almost kicked him between the legs, but she held herself back for the Doctor's sake.
