TRIGGER WARNING: DESCRIPTION OF VIOLENCE
That afternoon, I waited behind the door of the rooftop. Somewhere quiet and deserted. It was the perfect stage. The rooftop was empty, there was nothing in view, only orange skies as dusk has started to fall. It was very quiet you could hear a pin drop. No, actually you could also hear my sharp breaths clearly. I was standing still with my black drawstring bag on my hands.
He should arrive pretty soon, I thought.
I looked down from the rooftop. Most of the students were already going to go home. I saw Amelia and Callista talking to each other and giggling under an oak tree by the gate. Then I could hear footsteps coming towards me. Faintly, I could hear people talking to each other. Heavy voices.
Boys.
I quickly went back to my post with the black bag ready.
"Wow, you've only been in high school for a week and someone is already going to confess their feelings to you?"
"I guess Wina is mine, then hahaha,"
"We'll see what happens... what if it's her?"
"Hahahaha, well tell us later what happened,"
"Sure, bye,"
The door on my left swung slowly. A blonde guy stepped into the rooftop, smiling. He looked around, then he scratched his head.
"It's... today, right? Or maybe she meant it for tomorrow?" he muttered out loud.
I walked over him, making as little sound as possible. The wind was blowing strongly, deafening my steps even more in the midst of rustles and whooshes in the air. The inconspicuous person just innocently looked back and forth at the sky and the letter in his hand, a hand in his hip.
I put the drawstring bag over his head and drew the string tight. The man shouted as he struggled, but I kicked him on the butt and he fell to the floor head first with a loud thud. Nimbly, he tried to get up, but I stepped on his bottom rather harshly and he fell down once more with a loud thud. Finally, he lied motionless on the floor of the rooftop with his back to me. His head was still covered with the black drawstring bag, sacked. I assumed that he has lost consciousness.
With trembling hands, I took out my pocket knife and opened it. I swung my hand towards him, letting the knife went through his back a few times. Blood spurted out from his back like a spring in the midst of a desert, drenching my blazer sleeves and my hands. Perfection. My hand started trembling even more, my knees felt very weak.
Blood.
Red.
It's raining... blood...
Then the door to the rooftop flung open. I turned around and saw a pair of deep blue eyes looking at me. They widened and I froze in my place the moment my caught them. There was a moment of silence as we stared at each other.

!!!
Th-the chairwoman's son! I thought, my jaw dropped open, out of all people who could caught me red-handed...
Why... why did I choose to do this on the rooftop?! This is his territory- oh I'm an idiot!
The young man looked like he was about to say something, but then he just quickly ran towards me. Before I knew it, the knife had arrived on his hand in a flash.
"Hey, give it back!" I exclaimed and reached out for it.
He pushed my shoulder and took a step back. I looked at him, unsure what to do. Likewise, he just looked at me, while staying at his alerted stance. I could only look at him, at his clear blue eyes looking straight into mine. Silence fell, with only our rough breaths taking over the soundscape.
