One morning, I was sitting in class, doing my homework in the morning again. I had left some numbers unanswered and I quickly did it in the class. That morning, I noticed some conversation in the back. It was Nathan, who has not been wearing a bandage around his back anymore after a week ago. Fortunately, just like Gale had said, he really got bored of me and found someone else to bother. Currently, he can be seen chasing after Misara, the smartest girl in the class.
"Hey, Misara, do you want to go somewhere with me this weekend?" he asked, "to discuss our group work,"
"Oh, I'm so sorry but I have other plans," she replied.
"Well, if it doesn't take very long I can wait," he said.
"I'm sorry, I might be full the whole day, depending on him," said Misara.
"Him?" asked Nathan.
"My... umm, boyfriend," she replied, "Andrew Benson from 3B,"
Nathan looked shocked for a while, but then he quickly regained his composure.
"Right, right..." he said, "umm, sorry to bother you,"
"It's alright," she replied, "sorry,"
Pfft- I thought.
Then I could hear Nathan walked away. I wanted to see his dejected face, so I looked up but found Amy looking at me instead.
"Andrew's girlfriend, huh..." she said.
"Oh, do you know him, Amy?" I asked.
She sat up straight suddenly.
"Na, seriously, you don't know him?! Andrew Benson of 3B?!" she asked, "he won a nation-wide talent show when he was still in elementary school! He's basically a star - he appeared in a TV ad before as well!"
"Did he?" I asked, "what was his talent, again?"
"He swims!" Amy said in disbelief, "he even beat the adults! His achievements in this school is just as great and he is one of the chairman's 'elite force' who takes part in the selective student leadership program!"
"I see," I said, just nodding.
"He's in my debate class too, so I see him every Saturday," she said, "wish I could see him now,"
"Then, why don't we go up there? To 3B?" I asked, "I can ask Kassandra some numbers I don't understand as well,"
She suddenly stood up with wide eyes.
"Yes, come on!" she said and pulled my arm.
"W-wait one second!" I said and quickly grabbed my book.
~~~
The two of us went up to the third floor and entered 3B nonchalantly. Well, Amy looked nervous and she just stuck to my back. I walked over to Kassandra's desk and poked her arm. The girl was sleeping on her desk. She looked up and blinked her eyes a few times, then she turned to me.
"Kassandra, can you help me with some of these?" I asked.
She yawned, but then she scooted over.
"What?" she asked.
"This one. Multiple choice on theory," I said, "does consumable alcohol have a higher boil temperature than a spiritus? Both are flammable, right?"
"How are you supposed to tell?" she asked and groaned, "just look it up on the internet, probably it's something to be memorised,"
"Hmm, true..." I said, "what about this one? Which one out of these hydrocarbons is incorrect?"
"Wait..." she said, pausing for a bit, "umm... are there any incorrect ones? Are you sure they didn't make any mistake with this question? I don't spot any off ones,"
