Gray's POV
Yeah, obviously something is up with Y/n. The love of her life just called her to tell her he asked someone else out.
That's a thing about Y/n. She's clearly in pain. Something in her life is causing it, and it's not just ethan. This has been happening for years. But she hides it. Well, tries to hide it.
Ethan and I can see right through her. We can tell when the smile is fake. We can tell when the tears aren't from laughter. And we can tell when her voice is groggy from just waking up to crying.
But we don't say anything. When we do, she insists she's fine. Y/n lies to us and herself about that.
Ethan and I know the possible reason why she does this, but we just don't know how to bring it up to her.
I went into Ethan's room, to find him smiling widely while texting someone.
"Who you texting?" I startled him.
"Alissa" He said happily.
"I texted Y/n. She said she was fine."
"Do you really believe her?"
"Of course not. But we can't push her to talk about something she doesn't want to hear."
"Yeah I guess your right."
