Gray: Hey are we forgetting something?

Older Bro: I don't think so, why?

Gray: Idk. I just feel like we're forgetting something today.

Older Bro: I don't think we are, but ok.

Ethan's POV

Today, Alissa and I are planning on going to the movies. She's bringing Brittney, so we convinced Grayson to come along too.

I do feel like we're forgetting something, but I can't remember what. Oh well, it's probably just a cousins birthday.

"Gray, let's go!" I yelled up the stairs.

Suddenly very loud thumps were coming down the stairs, and Grayson was running his fingers through his hair. We left to get the girls before the movies.

Your POV

Two weeks ago, I got all three costumes in the mall. And they are awesome! They all look and feel like they came out of the movies!

Today was the day! It's officially Halfoween! The twins said I could get ready at their house, let we always do.

I grabbed the three boxes that held each costume. After locking my door, I ran across the yard to their house. I knocked, and their mom opened the door.

"Hi Lisa!" I said. She hates it when I say 'Mrs. Dolan.' Same with Sean.

"Hi sweetie! The boys just left. They should be back soon though." She looked like she was about to leave herself. "I need to go back to work, but your more than welcome to stay and get ready for your holiday!"

"Ok, have fun!"

"Bye sweetie, love you!" She hugged me and kissed my cheek before walking out the door. Not before I returned the "I love you to."

Lisa has always been more of a mom to me than my own mother has. But, that's for a different story, on a different day. Right now, i need to get ready for Halfoween! I just hope the twins don't take to long.

———

I finally had my costume on, and it was amazing! I literally looked like Gal Gadot! Well, except for the brown hair. Oh well. Ethan can easily pull off Superman with his black hair, and Grayson will be fine with his mask.

———

It's been four hours. Four hours of me pacing the living room, waiting for the twins to show up. It was already 9 o'clock, an hour later than we usually start Halfoween.

I decided to see what they were up to. I went to Snapchat and saw Ethan posted. It was a selfie that clearly showed himself, Alissa, her friend Brittney, and Grayson, at a movies theater.

Oh my god. They forgot! That, or they blew me off on purpose. Immediately, tears filled my eyes and down my cheeks. I never thought this day would actually happen. For twelve years, they never forget! Now they meet girls and I'm not important anymore!

I took of my costume and left it on the couch. I had already put their costumes on their bed earlier, but I didn't feel like getting them. So I ran back home to cry in my pillow. I know, crybaby.

Ethan's POV

We now got home, with the girls with us. There was a box on the couch, which I didn't think anything of.

I took Alissa to my room, and Gray took Brittney to his. Once my door was locked, Alissa kissed me, which turned into a make out. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a box, similar to the one on the couch, on my bed.

I pushed Alissa to the side, and she grunted. Annoyed she didn't have my attention anymore.

I picked up the box, and slowly threw the lid on my bed. I carefully moved the tissue papers over the sides, and gasped.

I was quick to go to the hall, still staring at what's inside the box. Apparently Grayson was doing the same thing as me. His room was only right across from mine.

We looked up at the same time. His face full of guilt and angriness, mirroring mine.

"Halfoween." We said in unison. "Fuck!" We said in unison again.
