Sarah sat still staring at the phone screen, her eyes were burning from the tears she had cried and the sharp wind hitting up against her face every 2 minutes. Is he really asking me to pick one location on the off chance that Melody is there? Trying to pick one was mentally torturing her, but she knew that's what he wanted to do to her, he wanted to watch her possibly drive up to the wrong place. Even though she would be happy to see Oliver right now the thought of losing Melody tore her heart apart.

She thought about the two locations he had given to her carefully, it made sense to put Melody at the school but that seemed to easy and then Louise's home was where she had first encountered the masked man and she couldn't help but believe that he didn't think she would pick there because she was to afraid to go back there. She thought about so many plans, maybe I could go to one and if I'm quick enough I could get to the other one before he does? she thought. She knew that wasn't going to work, he was to clever and he obviously watched every move she made.

Sarah got up and walked back towards to her mothers house, she went inside and grabbed her car keys off the hanger on the wall, before she shut the door she turned around and looked up to the top of the stairs. She finally felt the grief striking her like a electric bolt.

"Goodbye mommy, goodbye daddy" She cried as she shut the front door.

She walked towards her car, she had made her mind up, she knew where she was going.

She couldn't remember the drive, her mind had blanked out, she looked across the street at her house, she couldn't possibly pick a location, she couldn't risk picking the wrong one.

The masked man would never of suspected her coming home instead.

She got out and slammed her car door shut so hard that you heard the window shake, she walked towards her front door and slowly unlocked her front door. She didn't even know why she had come back here but she couldn't think of anywhere else. It was dark, you could tell no one had been home.

Oliver must of come straight to me, she had a wave of sadness overwhelm her, if she hadn't of texted him then maybe he would be sitting here waiting for her. She turned on the hallway light while looking at the keys she was holding, she had a photograph of herself, Melody and Oliver on there from when they went to the beach, Melody had found a starfish and was chasing Sarah down the seafront with it.

She put one foot out in front of her to walk towards the kitchen when she suddenly slipped landing on her back with a thud. She looked up at the ceiling.

"Could today get any worse" she whinged.

She noticed her back felt damp, and as she sat up she saw that she was sitting in a pool of

"BLOOD" Sarah shouted and jumped onto her knees before moving as quick as she could to the other side of the hallway. She sat with her arms wrapped around both knees rocking back and forth crying, she couldn't take this anymore.

BANG BANG

Sarah looked up, she wasn't alone in the house, there was someone upstairs.

She felt angry, but then something clicked.

"He wanted to make sure I didn't come home" Sarah grinned at herself, had she caught her masked killer in the act?.

She creeped as quietly as she could, she knew she couldn't go backwards into the kitchen incase she made to much noise, she needed to get up there while he was still there and catch him when he didn't expect it.

She scanned around her, the only thing to hand was the lamp sitting on the side table.

She grabbed it anyway, she knew with enough force she could at least knock him out giving her enough time to find out who it was and ring the police.

She crawled step by step taking extra care to avoid any squeaky floorboards that she knew about, when she got to the top she stopped.

She could see the light beaming out of her bedroom at the bottom of the landing, she poked her head round the bannister slightly and could see that the door was open fully.

BANG BANG.

She could still hear who ever it was banging and rummaging around, He doesn't know im here she thought to herself, she couldn't help but feel scared, anxious but happy and excited at the prospect that this could soon be over.

She stayed in a crouching position as she made her way across the landing, she could feel her anxiety intensifying the closer she came to the bedroom door, she could see him.

A long thick black coat with the hood up, he looked panicked, he was obviously looking for something he needed. He was standing to his side and she could see his mask. She could hear him breathing heavily almost panting.

Without thinking she leapt forward, screaming while running towards him she brought her arm up ready to hit.

WHACK

He hit the floor

WHACK WHACK WHACK WHACK WHACK WHACK

Sarah couldn't stop, she wanted to leave him with more than just bruises, she didn't know where she was hitting but she didn't care as long as she was hurting him.

She finally stopped and took a step back, she could see a river of blood bubbling and making its way out from under his mask.

"Ive done it! IVE DONE IT" She was shouting with excitement, she was finally going to see who was tormenting her for what seemed like weeks.

She knelt down beside him and put her fingers underneath the mask, the blood and sweat had made the mask stick to his face like glue.

She pulled as hard as could until finally it detached itself from his face.

Sarah gasped

"Oliver" She whispered

He fluttered his eyelids, he moved his mouth but the words wouldn't come out, he used all of the strength he had left to pick up his hand and point to his mouth.

Sarah peeped forward.

"OH MY GOD!" Sarah screamed and flung herself at Oliver.

He was lying there, in his own pool of blood. He lifted his arm and pushed Sarahs hair out of her eyes.

" your... your tongue! what happened?" Sarah placed her hand on his cheek and wiped away a tear that fell from his eye.

"We need to get you to a hospital, Im not bothered what he does to me, this can't go on any longer" Sarah was done with following rules, she needed to get Oliver help.

Half of his tongue was missing and he was physically black and blue, it looked like he had been beaten over and over again.

Sarah fought through her tight pockets to find her mothers mobile, she hadn't left it incase the police found her parents, she didn't want to risk them seeing the recent text messages off Unknown.

Oliver grabbed her arm and pulled her down, he handed her something. It was another Rose note.

WHY DONT YOU TRY AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN?

Sarah now had to decide whether to take Oliver to the hospital and possibly cause more problems or do what the note says and hope she finds the missing piece on time.

She looked at Oliver, he looked so heartbroken.

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO OLIVER, IM SO SORRY" Sarah cried out loudly before burrowing her head onto his chest.
