Maurclipse ~ Coming Back To You (Bebe Rexha ft. Louis Tomlinson)

Maurice Hedgehog, a Head Assassin of the team of assassins called Black Death and Sonic's older triplet brother, tapped on his computer, updating their files on the team's latest kills, victories and failures as a neutral expression was placed on his face. As he did, his jade green eyes rolled over to a picture of one of his best assassins, Eclipse Darkling, Shadow's brother.

"Not again..." he sighed, pushing his chair away from the desk.

'~I know you say you know me, know me well
But these days I don't even know myself, no~'

He remembered two years ago, the first time he met Eclipse. He got the alien out of G.U.N's custody and made him one of his top assassins of Black Death, earning the spot by killing 100 holographic people and mobians in one minute, beating the record of his other best assassin, Nazo, who was able to do it in two minutes.

'~I always thought I'd be with someone else
I thought I would own the way I felt, yeah~'

Eclipse had impressed him on his first week. As the weeks went by, however, the alien was starting to get close to him. Maurice could easily see it and he could also see that Nazo was competing with the alien for his attention. But then, to his own surprise, Maurice was getting used to Eclipse and his closeness. Whenever he tried to ask about it the aliens hedgehog, however, the other would always stutter and leave him to his questions.

'~I call you but you never even answer
I tell myself I'm done with wicked games~'

What makes things weirder was that out of anyone and everyone in Möbius, Eclipse was the ONLY one who was able to make him smile and even laugh! It was a complete confusion to him when it first happened. He gave it a thought for a while but soon, he realized that laughing for the first time in his life... wasn't so bad.

'~But then I get so numb with all the laughter
That I forget about the pain~'

In just a few weeks, he started to notice changes in himself. He was starting to stutter in front of Eclipse and was starting to become... uncertain.

'~Whoah, you stress me out, you kill me
You drag me down, you fuck me up~'

Usually, he was strict and solemn at his work but ever since Eclipse came, he couldn't get himself under control.

'~We're on the ground, we're screaming
I don't know how to make it stop~'

He didn't even know how he felt about the alien. He was both annoyed and flustered, wanting to be away from him but also wanting to keep him safe from all harm, a.k.a G.U.N.

'~I love it, I hate it, and I can't take it
But I keep on coming back to you~'

Meanwhile, in the Assassin's Training Room, Eclipse had just finished his workout and was wiping the sweat off of him.

"Alright," he sighed, placing the towel on his shoulder. "now to head back to my room to get ready for any new mission,"

As he walked out of the room and into the hallway, a portrait of Maurice caught his eye.

"Hmm?" He stopped in his tracks and was left staring at the picture with half-idled eyes. "Oh chaos..."

'~~I know my friends they give me bad advice
Like move on, get you out my mind~'

Ever since the first week of staying in Black Death, Eclipse was always curious of Maurice. Knowing the fact that the head assassin was Sonic's brother, he expected the jade-eyed azure hedgehog to be just like him. Instead, he got a strange surprise; Maurice was the exact opposite!
