I could feel Mister Michaelis watching me as I made the young earl's food. He seemed rather surprised. When the timer went off it was around time to eat, so I took the food out and let it cool with a covering before going to the young earl's study and knocking thrice.

"Come in." I opened the door and curtsied.

"Young earl, your dinner is ready." The young earl looked up at me and nodded, setting his pen down and getting up from his chair, I opened the door wider and waited for him to exit his study.
I made sure to walk a meter behind him as he entered the dinning room, his place at the head of the table, was set with cutlery and a vast variety of drinks.

"Please wait here, young earl." Ciel nods, shooing me as I retreat to the kitchen, checking that everything has cooled to an appropriate temperature, before dishing his portion and delicately placing it on a tray and cart.
I also place the original oven dish itself onto the tray, before wheeling it out to the young earl. Michaelis placing the young earl's dessert options on the cart as I walk past him and follows behind me.
Both of us switching places, so he's wheeling it out and I'm walking behind him.

"You dinner is served, young master." Sebastian says as he places both plates in front of him. Ciel looked at his dinner plate before taking a bite and stopping.

"Who made this, Sebastian?" Ciel asked, I honestly didn't care if I got the credit or not, it was simply a meal that was made to make sure the young earl stays healthy.

"Miss Nirvana did, my lord." The young earl nods before eating the rest of his food in silence but not holding my breath on getting a full on compliment, nor at all.
The young earl taking alternating sips of both white wine and water. He cleaned the side of his mouth after he cleaned his plate and placed his cutlery to signify that he was finished. He looked back at me with a smirk.

"Almost as good as Sebastian's cooking." I bow in thanks, standing up straight as the young earl began to eat his dessert.

After he finished, I put all the used and dirty plates to one side of the cart and making sure that the oven dish is kept clean. Sebastian and I walk back into the kitchen where the others are waiting.

"What are we having for dinner, Sebastian?" Sebastian looks at his watch and sighs.

"I don't have time to make you food-"

"They can have what the master didn't eat. Besides you have to get the young master ready for sleep soon." I interrupt him. Sebastian looks at me like I was being rude. I knew I was but I wouldn't let them starve. He sighs aggrievedly.

"Do as you wish." He semi-growls before stomping out. I shake my head with a sigh, setting things out for them to eat and dishing them the gnocchi, smiling gently at them.

"Have this. The master wasn't all that particularly hungry." I finally get to Tanaka and he does his thing as I clean up the oven dish, the serving utensils before and sit there and look as the moon begins to rise.

"You okay, Missy?" I gave a small hum of approval and acknowledgment with a nod. My back itching.

"I just realised I have some more chores and jobs still to do, so you guys head off to bed." They all looked at me like I was acting weird but they'd have to grow accustomed to it. It'd be like this more often than not, I could hear their footsteps as I continued to look out the window.

"Are you sure, little miss?" I look to Baldroy and nod with a slightly strained small smile.

"I'm sure. I'll be fine." He looks at me sceptically before sighing, scratching the back of his head and leaving as I begin to placing the plates into the basin with hot water.
