Ming's POV

I was so happy when P'Kit asked me to take me on a date, me and P'Kit are more comfortable with each other and I love him more and more everyday. I was excited about the date and was about to leave the university when N'Earth informed me that we are gonna have a meeting with all our line seniors and it was really important so I texted P'Kit and cancelled our date sadly.

After waiting a while, N'Earth said that due to some problems the seniors were unable to come and that they wanted us to familiarise ourselves with our direct line juniors therefore we went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. I missed P'Kit so much.

N'Earth suddenly held my hands while crossing the road ,"P'Ming, ah
....I hope you don't mind , I have this habit of holding hands while crossing the road." He said a bit embarrassed.

"Hey, it's okay. I don't mind." I said while walking into the restaurant.

As we sat on the table and ordered our food, my phone started ringing, it was P'Kit. I was so happy to see him calling and I really wanted to talk to him but I have told him that I would be in a meeting at the university and it was too noisy so I didn't pick his phone because he would think that I lied to him. And I think P'Kit doesn't like N'Earth much.  He didn't seem to like him on the first meeting itself, I guess he was a bit jealous so i didn't pick his call, he called me the second time and I wanted to pick it up but I didn't cause I didn't wanna risk being misunderstood so I didn't pick it up.

N'Earth noticed me and said," I bet that is  your girlfriend but aren't you afraid to ignore her calls."

"Oh, it's actually my boyfriend and yes I am afraid but I am more afraid of him misunderstanding and thinking that I lied to him since I told him I would be at the university and if I pick up he would know that I am not at the university."

"Boyfriend or girlfriend, all are scary when it comes to being possessive or misunderstanding." He said

"Yeah, that's true." And both of us laughed.

"Well, P'Ming  if you don't mind can I ask who is the lucky guy who is your boyfriend?" N'Earth asked.

"Oh, I don't mind at all, actually I am the lucky one to have him. I was the one who always hit on him and finally he gave in and became my boyfriend, that was the happiest day of my life. Well, to answer your question, my boyfriend is P'Kit, the one you met when you first came to my dorm."

" Oh......Is P'Kit really your boyfriend? I thought he liked girls and isn't he P'Ple's boyfriend?"

I was shocked when N'Earth said that. How could he know about P'Kit and P'Ple?

"How do you know about them N'Earth? And no P'Kit is my boyfriend, he had broken up with P'Ple a long time ago."

"Uh....well, one of my friend is P'Ple's brother so that's how I know about them and I was in the same high school as P'Kit's. I am sorry P'Ming for earlier ,  I know that they broke up long ago but the reason I asked is because a few days back I met my friend and he told me that P'Kit is trying to get back with P'Ple."

What???? What is this Nong talking about? Why would P'Kit try to get back with her? He told me that she just wanted to be his friend.

" What are you saying, Nong?"

"P'Ming, I am really sorry but I think you deserve the truth. P'Kit is really trying to get back with P'Ple. My friend told me that P'Ple even broke up with her boyfriend and extended her holidays to stay with P'Kit."

When I heard this, it was as if a train had hit me, I was dumbstruck. How can this be true? But also, why would N'Earth  lie?

"P' are u okay? I am really sorry."

"Huh....yeah, I am. I don't think P'Kit would do something like that. I need to talk to him."

"P', even I am not completely sure about this. I think you shouldn't talk to him directly now, you should take some time and then see for yourself."

We left the place after a while and I texted P'Kit. I still can't believe that he would do something like that and I know he won't do anything like that.

Time -skip: a week later.

P'Kit has been avoiding me a lot, I haven't had the chance to talk to him. Now I am getting worried, could it be that what N'Earth said is true? I am scared and anxious. I got fed up being ignored by P'Kit, so I decided to go to his condo, I have to talk to him and clear things out, I want to straighten out everything. As I knock on his condo, he misunderstands me to be P'Beam and tells me to go away so I tell him that it's me, I can hear him walking a bit towards the door and he  tells me that he is tired and wanted to talk to me tomorrow so I insisted on talking to him. I haven't been able to see him these days and Wayo told me that P'Kit looks tired and exhausted all the time. I am worried about him and also our relationship.

I kept on asking him to open the door but he didn't.

"P'Ming?"

I turn around and see N'Earth ," Oh, N'Earth."

"P' what are you doing here?"

" Ah, I just came to see P'Kit."

Suddenly the door opens and P'Kit stares at us with a strange look, then he slams the door on our face and shouts," Ming, I am breaking up with you. You stay happy with your Nong. I don't wanna see your face ever."

Those words felt like thousands of daggers piercing my heart. I knocked on the door, I begged him to talk to me yet all I can hear was his sobbing from inside.

So what N'Earth said was true?? What did he mean when he said "stay happy with your Nong"? Why isn't he talking to me? Why did he look so tired and depressed?

Is he cheating on me? Or is he thinking that I am cheating on him? Is this the end of us?
