Not again

"P'Kit's POV

It was already dark when I reached Ming's house, I was too caught up in the day due to N'Wayo earlier. Facing Ming's friend and parents on the same day is not a good idea but I wanted this problem to end as soon as possible. I was trembling as I stepped towards their door, the door swung open when I was about to press the bell, they must have seen me coming, through the camera. I wai'd Ming's mom at once,"Sawaddee khrap, Mae.(Kit has a habit of calling Ming's mother "mae)"

She looked at me astonished and I could tell she was angry,"Sawadde kha, Kit. Please come in."
I could tell by looking at her eyes that she has been crying. I stepped in and walked towards the living room. As I sat down on the couch his mom started questioning me

"Why are you here?" She was trying hard not to burst out on me.

I gulped and then started explaining .

"Mae, I know that by now you must have known about the situations between me and Ming. It was really hard for me to choose between my mom and Ming but I just couldn't give up on my mom, I know I was stupid to just cut off Ming from my life and to not strive harder to keep us going. It's all my fault and I accept it....."

"What do you want Kit? Please be clear."

"Mae, please grant me another chance. I want to apologise to Ming for everything, I really love him Mae, please....."

"You do know that Ming has left the country right?" She scowled

"Yes, I do know that."

"Then I dont think that your coming here makes sense."

"Mae, please tell me where he is. I will go wherever he is and will do anything for his forgiveness. Please...."

"Kit, (she chokes on her tears).....I have never been against the two of you. I have always thought of you as my other son but now I must say that neither you nor Ming are right for each other. I do understand that it must have been really hard for your mother to accept it and I know how hard it must have been for you to choose between your own mother and your love. I dont blame you for that Kit but now you have a girlfriend and Ming has left the country.  You guys have already moved on then why create more chaos?"

"Mae, the girl that Ming thought was my girlfriend is actually my sister. He just misunderstood us and as for my mom , she has finally decided to accept us. Please mae I just need another chance."

"As much as I would want to , I can't. I am also a mother , Kit and no matter what I would always protect my son. You leaving him with a valid reason is tolerable for me but you pursuing him again after he has just decided to move on, that is not tolerable Kit. I can't let my child suffer again. Do you have any idea how you destroyed his whole world. He didn't even tell me at first but I did notice that there was something going on as he didnt call me often nor visited me. One night Wayo brought him home, he was completely drunk and crying out your name (Ming's mom sobs remembering her child's condition) . After putting him to sleep, Wayo told me everything, and also said that he argued with you and your girlfriend and had a fight before Wayo brought him to me. Next morning I talked to him and for the first time in ages he cried hugging me. He didn't go to the uni for days and finally one day he told us  that he wants to go abroad to study. I tried to convince him but he stuck to his decision and he left today, my son really needs to be away from you. How could I believe that you wont hurt him again? How could I believe that you won't run away from him when problems arise again?"

I was crying and listening to her the whole time.  As I didn't answer her due to my choked up throat she said
"The truth is that you never loved my son, if you had loved him you wouldn't have left him , you would have tried to figure out things...."
