One step at a time

Kit's POV

"Ming, are you gonna take a shower?"

Ming looked at me with sleepy eyes, " Yes, P'Kit. I will take a shower, I am all sweaty right now." saying that he stood up and walked towards the bathroom with half eyes open ," ouch.... ouch, ouch..." Ming screamed in pain as he hit his toe on the side of the table, well it was bound to happen , he was walking around dreamily, half awake and half asleep. He was in excruciating pain and was jumping around on one leg, I did feel bad for him but the situation was very funny so I couldn't control and I chuckled a bit while helping him sit on the bed. " P', I am hurt and you are laughing. " he said while pouting and making a sad face " Well, you were walking around carelessly, what else do you expect than getting hurt. I am laughing at your stupidity." I explained while taking a look at his toe, he must have hit his toe hard because the skin had become red and a bit swollen, " Is it too painful?" I asked " It hurts a bit but I can manage." He then stood up and and headed towards the bathroom limping a little bit while I handed him the clothes to change and a fresh towel. He came out after a while and then I went to shower. As I was done with my shower, I realised a horrifying thing, I forgot to bring my towel, how can I be so stupid, how am I gonna get it now. Shit, shit there is no other way than asking Ming to hand it to me, but that's too risky, but do I have any other choice so I open my bathroom door a little " Ming, are you asleep?"
" No, P'. Why are you asking?" I can hear the smirk in his voice, oh this is so not gonna be easy ," I..uh... forgot my towel, can you please pass it to me , it's on the chair. " I heard him stand up " No problem P'. It's my pleasure helping you out." That's it , the devil in him has woken up, now he won't stop pestering me, as he approached the door, I held my hands out through the tiny gap between the door and the wall , he handed me the towel but wouldn't let it go ," Ming, leave the towel." He chuckled a bit, oh! God he is so taking revenge for laughing at him before," P' I will let it go if you promise me something." I let out a frustrated groan," What is it?" He immediately said," You have to kiss me like yesterday. Promise me that and I would let you have your towel otherwise forget it." I knew he would ask me something like this, why did I have to forget that goddamn towel ," No, I won't do anything like that, give me the towel Ming. Don't annoy me." He snatched the towel out of my hand," Well then forget about it, oh! or maybe do you want me to bring it in the bathroom myself." He said while pulling slightly at the bathroom door," Ming, I swear I will kill you if you do something like that. Ok, fine I will kiss you, just hand me that goddamn towel now." Ming is unpredictable, he might actually barge in the bathroom, why take risks, it's better to agree with him for now," P' if you don't keep your promise then I will take that kiss anyway. " I let out a sigh as he hands me the towel. I quickly dry myself , wear my clothes and step outside, Ming glares at me with a smile. " What are you smiling at, lie down and go to sleep." He pouts a bit," Well then P' hurry up and kiss me so that I can sleep right away." I walk towards my side of the bed and lie down with my back facing him," I won't kiss you. You took advantage of me forgetting my towel, it was unfair. Now, shut up and sleep." He hugs me from behind," I knew you wouldn't let this be easy, so as I said I am gonna take it anyways." He leaned in to kiss so I kicked him " Ouch P' that hurts a lot. You hit my already hurt toe." He took his toe in his hands and was rolling on the bed ," Serves you right. Now turn around and sleep and let me sleep as well, I am so done with your dramas." He turned around while still holding his toe in his hand ," Okay, P'." I thought he would whine a lil bit more while making that puppy face but he just said ok and turned around. Did I really hit him hard, I must have because he was still holding his toe and stroking it gently. I hate myself on occasions like this where I hurt the ones I love just because of my stubbornness.

Ming's POV

The toe was really hurting bad now, but that is not the problem, I think I might have pissed off P' kit really bad otherwise he won't hit me and won't even care about it. I think I did cross my line, everytime I want to show him my love , I mess up. I was worrying about these things when I feel a wet lip on my cheeks," I am sorry for hurting your toe, I didn't mean to do it." Yet again P'Kit succeeded in making my heart skip a beat. I turn around and face him , his face has again taken the colour of roses but I can see the guilt in his eyes," P' you don't have to be sorry. I did cross my line a little bit and I am sorry for that." He hugged me and that took me by surprise," P' I won't push you over the edge anymore. I am sorry if I annoy you but I don't know how to show you that I really like you a lot and I end up doing stupid things. I am sorry for being immature and stupid and for making you worry a lot many times. I might say sorry a lot but everytime I say it , I really mean it P' and yeah I promise that I would take one step at a time and I won't rush you." P'Kit looked up and I saw tears in his eyes," I am already guilty, don't make me feel guiltier" he presses his lips against mine while cupping my face, he sucked on my lower lips and licked it then he pushed his tongue inside my mouth and started exploring my mouth, I got completely lost in this moment when he retrieved his tongue and left his mouth a little open as if asking me to explore his mouth, I slowly pushed my tongue inside his mouth, his moist, warm mouth almost melting my insides. We kissed until we had to part our lips to gasp for air, both of us were out of breathe , we breathed heavily then I pulled him in my arms and kissed his forehead, he hugged me back and said," Well we definitely took one step ahead today." while still breathing heavily.
