Jaebum's P.O.V
Ethereal.
The only word I could think of at that particular moment. As I opened my eyes, warm rays of sunlight seeping into the bedroom.
The feeling of her bare back against my chest more comforting than words could describe.
I left a trail of sweet kisses on her shoulder and down her arm, watching in awe as she smiled in her sleep, turning around and burying herself further into my embrace.
I admired how her long eyelashes rested upon the apples of her upper cheek, her cheeks which were still dusted pink as-well as the bridge of her petite nose accompanied with her rosy lips which were turned upwards in a soft smile.
I tucked the stray dark cinnamon locks behind her hair, watching as they gently caressed her face.
All of a sudden, her eyes fluttered open, the pool of honey suddenly opening up as her face lit up upon seeing me.
"Good morning." I say, voice still husky being that it was early in the morning. I took her hand, leaving sweet kisses on it causing her to smile even wider.
"Morning." she replied.
As we lay there in each other's presence, the more I look at her, the more I come to the realisation till I sigh in acceptance which only confuses her.
"I love you."
I could see her freeze in shock causing me to chuckle, "Y-you what?" She stutters which only makes me smile wider at her cuteness.
"I love you Lee YuJin, I love you so much." I admit for the first time wholeheartedly causing her to smile, a shade of pink dusting her cheeks yet again.
"I love you too." She replies sincerely, snuggling deeper into my chest as I wrap my arms around her.
& all we wanted in that moment was to stay like that forever.

YuJin's P.O.V
"Lee YuJin can you make your way to the principal's office please?"
The announcement resounds throughout the silenced classroom. I look up from my math book, confused.
As I make my way to the principal's office, my head fills with thoughts of anything I could've done wrong.
I haven't done anything wrong, right? Of course not, but paranoia still gets the best of me as I raise my clammy hand to knock on the large brass door.
"Come in!" Mrs. Shin, the principal, called out. I cleared my throat before entering nervously, bowing before taking a seat in front of the overwhelming presence of the principal.
"Good morning Mrs. Lee." She smiled at me widely. "You look nervous." She peered down at me through the thick rims of the glasses perched on the bridge of her nose.
"Well, yes I've never been called to the principal's office like this." I chuckle nervously before clearing my throat, "Um, have I done something wrong?"
"Not at all, in fact the opposite." She replied, bringing out some documents and papers from her desk drawer.
"As you know Mrs. Lee, you are one of the top students at our school, if not, the top student. You are truly remarkable in terms of your academics as well as your ambassadorial characteristics.
So remarkable in fact, that you've been chosen to attend the University of Oxford in the UK, one of the best in the world. This is a huge opportunity for you Mrs. Lee, & I trust that you'll take it."
By the time she had finished, I was speechless, my jaw dropped, scrambling for words before a bright smile began creeping onto my face.
I was going to be studying in the UK.
All of a sudden, a conversation I had with Jaebum replays in my head & my smile falters.
We lay underneath the sea of stars, bathing in the stars and in the company of one another.
I looked up at him, tracing his jawline delicately with my fingers, a smile etched onto my face.
I felt his large hands intertwine with mine, pulling me closer into his warm embrace, his chin on top of my head whilst I snuggled further into his chest.
"Lee YuJin." he mumbled, his voice muffled because of my hair, sounding like a low vibration.
I hummed in response,
"Let's stay together after school finishes." He says suddenly, "You can move in with me."
I look up at him, confused. "All of a sudden?"
He looked down at me, sighing before continuing, "Every-time I think of being away from you, it scares me. The thought of not being like this with you, it scares me. The thought of not holding you like this, it scares me.
My biggest fear is that I'll lose you, that these days will pass and all of this will drift apart. You've brought out a side of me that I didn't even know existed. I can't lose you. Please, stay with me."
I smiled at him reassuringly, "I will, don't worry. I'll always be here." I whispered before gently closing the gap between us, our lips moving against each other slowly and softly.
It was as though every feeling, every promise, all the words that couldn't be said were poured into the soft feeling of our lips moulding together and our breaths mingling with one another.
He reached out his hand, delicately caressing my face, gently tracing hearts on my cheek with his thumb.
We pulled away, out of breath, our foreheads pressed against each other
& our smiles were enough to seal the promise.
"Mrs. Lee?" the voice of the principal brought me back to reality.
Holy shit. I was going to study in the UK. For 3 years. Away from Korea. Away from my friends.
& away from Jaebum.
