When I saw the letters all the air left my lungs, I stood instantly and ran outside. His car was gone, he's gone, I paced the parking lot with my hands over my head. I saw Alex and ran where she was, she looked at me with confusion.
"Mal?"
"He's gone" I said barely over a whisper. She placed her hand on my shoulder and look at my with worries in her eyes. I couldn't breath I was sweating more than often.
"Who is gone?" She asked, I catch my breath and breathe.
"Josh...josh is gone"
"Wha-" I gave her the letter and she read it to herself.
"Come on" she dragged me to her car and drove. "Where are we going? " as we approached the I saw that it was the hotel where josh's parents are staying.
Alex didn't hesitate to get out of the car, I got out as well. We went up to his parent room. Karen looked awful when she saw us she forced a smile. "Hey guys " I looked at her from head to toe, she wore a neon colour blouse and a blue jeans complimented by her channel slippers.
Her face however looked awful, there were bags under her eyes and I almost forgot that Robert passed away.
"Where's josh?" I looked at Alex and she looked at me.
"Amm...he's okay just decided to stay home" Alex lied. I looked at her with raised brows.
I pulled her one side "why did you lie to her" Alex rolled her eyes, "Karen has had enough with her husband passing away she don't need anymore drama"
I nodded, "Karen were gonna go now...see you later!!" Karen walked back into the room and smiled. We went back to the car and started to drive. "What now?" I asked Alex, still focused on the road she spoke " We find josh"
I was determined to find josh and I know I will.

4 Months Later
Summer just began and I had a feeling it was going to be the worst. We searched everywhere in this area and Josh is nowhere to been found, its four months later and I don't know where he is.
Maybe I've been looking in the wrong place or country...I don't know
I'm confused, 'why would he just leave like that?'
I need to find Josh, if it's the last thing I do.
