i opened anthony's text to the group chat and at first felt a wave of sadness, i knew we were over but seriously? already? and with one of my best friends? or atleast i thought he was.. i couldn't believe her, she broke things of with me because of a tiktok i posted with a fan, and now she's spam posting tiktoks of her and jaden all cuddled up in his hotel room? the sadness soon turned into anger and i threw on a hoodie and sneakers and left my room to go for a walk and try to cool down. i walked through the city in circles, just looking at all the buildings and people for what ended up being more than an hour when i finally stopped to go sit down at a small cafe. i bought something to drink and sat down at one of the tables outside the cafe. i balanced the chair back and leaned on the glass and let out a quiet sigh. i turned my phone on and saw multiple notifications of texts and missed calls from my friends and the group chat from about an hour ago but ignored them and opened up twitter.

i was just about to post it but sorta felt like a 13 year old girl posting sad quotes about her breakup on snapchat. i didn't want to text chloe but still wanted to get my point across and l knew she'd see the tweet i guess. i turned my head and looked down at the street at a dog walking by when i saw someone behind the window i was leaning on. she was looking down at her phone, texting someone as i saw her ocean blue eyes moving across the screen while she was typing. whoa, i thought to myself. she tucked a strand of her long wavy hair that was hanging in her face behind her ear and suddenly looked up, straight into my eyes. i felt my heart stop for a second and smiled at her before turning back around. i finished my drink, picked up my phone and opened up twitter and posted the tweet anyways while walking inside to leave my cup, but walked into someone right as i entered the cafe.
-whoa! i exclaimed, are you alright? i asked and saw that it was the girl from the window.
-sorry yeah no i'm fine, she replied and looked up at me.
-i was looking at my phone instead of where i was going, i'm sorry, i said and couldn't help but smile while looking at her.
-and i was looking at, she paused like she was trying to figure out what to say, well i was looking at a stain on my shirt she said embarrassed and chuckled. her smiles so cute, i thought to myself.
-a stain. really underrated things to watch you know, extremely entertaining, i replied ironically, mocking her and hoped she'd laugh, she did, and i got to see her gorgeous smile again.
-yeah, and it's a salad dressing stain to top it off, the most entertaining kind, she said jokingly and i laughed.
-aren't you.. gonna get that? or something? she said and gestured to my phone, that was blowing up from notifications and calls because of my tweet and i realized i'd probably just accidentally stared at her for a bit too long.
-oh, yeah, uhh, yeah no i, i should probably get that, i said and shook my head trying to get myself together and stop staring. i picked up the call and walked out of the cafe.
-what now?! i said into my phone to anthony on the other end.
-calm down ok, you can't just storm off like that ignoring our calls and then post something like that on twitter, you had us worried.
-i just had to get some air sorry, i was a kind of a jackass this morning, i replied with a sigh, feeling guilty over how i'd acted towards the guys when they just wanted to know i was ok.
-it's fine we all know this must be tough on you, but you should probably delete that tweet chase.. he said and lowered his voice when he said the tweet part.
-why? everyone knows we broke up an now everyone knows she's with jaden, figured everyone should know my opinion. i replied getting defensive again.
-the fans are freaking out chase, you said yourself you didn't want any drama on tour, so don't go making more of it, ok? you're better than that bro, anthony said on the other line.
-ugh, fine, why do you always have to be so right? it's annoying, i replied while putting him on speaker, opening up twitter and taking down the tweet before too many people saw it.
