"Everything is beautiful while it lasts
But nothing lasts forever."

Safiyyah softly spoke her random thought.
For some reason when she closed her eyes she was reminded of her interaction with Adam Lynn.
The other day when she was passing through the TV room she had seen the news about him. He was still in the hospital.
It had been 5 days now.
The funny part was that Safiyyah found herself thinking a lot about him.
But maybe it was because 1. She hadn't told anyone that she had met Adam Lynn and 2. Almost every gossip queen was talking about Adam getting shot and adding pure lies to the story.
But one of them had mentioned a pretty mysterious girl saving him.
That made her smile.
Also in one of the internet articles the heading was 'Miss mysterious saving our hero!'
Safiyyah found that stupidly amusing.
What Safiyyah found more amusing was that Nitesh knew the fact that she had met some 'Adam' guy but he had no idea that it was the Adam Lynn she had met because the other day Nitesh texted her telling her that Adam Lynn was admitted in the same hospital that night when they were there.
Little did he know.
Last morning she had been called to the Principal's office, for answering questions the Police officers were asking about the incident.
She told them everything honestly.
About 20 minutes later after noting down and recording her answers, they reassure her that she won't be fined for driving a car without a license as a reward for her service to the nation.
For which she was grateful.
And this morning while taking a shower she had noticed that the wounds on her knees were brown and almost healed.
But it still hurt when she bent her knees so Safiyyah avoided doing that.
Right now she was alone in the basketball court.
Playing,
Practicing,
Aiming,
Achieving
or maybe not because she was trying to get the ball through the hoop half court; which is difficult of course.
But not once the rebel ball had gone through.
All her classes for the day were over and she was just passing through the basketball court with her books when she saw a basketball laying alone in the middle of it; she was tempted and couldn't help but spare a few minutes.
She had kept her books on a bench meant for audience.
"Deep words for a woman like you"
Safiyyah turned her head ever so slightly to glance at the new comer.
He was wearing his basketball jersey.
He was taller than her and held a smile. His body was lean and muscular just like a professional basketball player.
