The Salvatore Boarding House quickly grew uncomfortable, even without Stefan and Damon there to cause it. Levi thought it was a good idea to stay back and keep an eye on the evil doppelgänger, much to Damon's annoyance, and he was slowly starting to regret it.

'You know,' Katharine strutted around the room with what was previously Levi's drink in hand, 'I've been with humans, vampires and werewolves, but witches... I've never gotten around to them. Too high maintenance, if you get what I mean. Not to mention how they can't help but poke around in your head with every little touch.'

'Maybe they simply don't like you.'

Katharine swivelled around to meet Levi's challenging gaze, forcing out a chuckle. He remained straight-faced.

'So you're a virgin! I would have bet otherwise with that face.' Levi frowned, not understanding why she was even thinking about that or how she came to that conclusion. Katharine smirked as if she knew all the knowledge of the world, 'If you had had sex, you'd know that liking each other has nothing to do with it.'

'Or you just know nothing other than hate sex,' he retorted, lip curling up ever so slightly. He didn't know where this was going, nor did he feel entirely comfortable, yet he wasn't inclined to walk away just yet.

Katharine narrowed her eyes at him, judging his stretched out body. The smirk on his face reminded her of many charming men from her past, although there was one stark difference. His eyes. They were kind, too kind, especially from someone like him. It threw her off so she did what she does best.

'So, does that mean,' she leaned down, pushing a knee between Levi's so his feet were forced to uncross and his legs to part, 'you want to show me another way?' Levi pushed back into the sofa, trying to create some distance while also trying to maintain his ground. Katharine was a predator and he knew that if he ran she would enjoy it too much. But the closing distance was incredibly worrying as he watched her every move, from the hand that still held his drink to the other than dropped to rest on his thigh. 'Or shall I show you my way?'

This wasn't what Levi was expecting and before he even knew what he was doing, he was brushing away the hand that was sliding dangerously up his leg and sliding out from beneath the vampire, making sure nothing else between them touched. That was as far as he could go.

'No, thanks,' he coughed awkwardly as he tried to back up as quickly yet as calmly as possible. 'I'm not Stefan or Damon... or Mason for that matter.'

'Good.'

Levi frowned, not sure what to say anymore so an awkward smile rose to his lips instead and he couldn't pull it away

Levi frowned, not sure what to say anymore so an awkward smile rose to his lips instead and he couldn't pull it away. What did Katherine want from him? To make him feel as uncomfortable as possible? If so, even this was topping up their previous encounters. Katherine was always a flirt but maybe he could bail just this one time.

'I'm just going to go,' he turned stiffly on his heel, not waiting to hear whatever else she had to say.

Katherine slowly followed as Levi made his way to the door, knowing it only made him rush to get out more. This was the first time she'd ever heard his heartbeat raise from its usual calm rhythm and she was going to enjoy being the reason why. She waited until his hand made contact with the doorknob before speeding inhumanly forward, fingers grasping his curls and roughly pushing his head into the door.
