"You okay?" Alex asked his girlfriend, they'd just said goodbye to their friend and it hadn't been easy for Amelia. Especially the goodbye to Adla had been hard on her but John promised her that he would keep her updated on the progress she made and he had no doubt that he would. Those two had really bonded, it was beautiful to see, but it had made the goodbye so much harder between them.

"Yes, it's just so hard, you probably think I'm ridiculous," she told him as she gave him a shrug of her shoulder as he reached to rest his hand on top of her thigh. "Never sweetheart, I thought it was sweet that you were able to build such a bond with Adla, you know she'll never forget you right. When we come back and she's still there which is a really big chance, she'll still know you," he explained to his girlfriend as she wiped away another tear and he squeezed her thigh again. "I know, it's just I should be better at saying goodbye you know, I'm still emotional about all of it," she admitted as Alex took a small glance at her. "It means you care, Amelia, there is nothing wrong with that and I love you for it," he told her as she gave him a small smile. "I love you too," she whispered as she pulled her legs up to her chest as Alex drove the car towards the airport.

"You sure you're ready for this?" she asked her boyfriend, they'd just picked up her luggage. Alex had put some stuff in one of his smaller suitcases and sent the rest back with Taylor to London as she was now introduced to Blake. He seemed a bit less strict than Taylor did, but she'd come to like him as well, she supposed that they had to look a bit mean in order to protect their charges. Blake had gone to get their rental car to stay even more hidden and she'd teased Alex that they were being sponsored by Range Rover when that car drove up to them.

Now though she was behind the wheel of the amazing car on the way to her home town. She hoped that Alex would like her family and that they would like him. first, it would be her grandparents though. they were going to drop off her stuff at her grandparent's place where she'd introduce Alex to them. That would be the first real shocker that they'd go to her mums. Where they hoped her family wouldn't have arrived yet.

"I am, I'm just a bit nervous, I want them to like me, cause they mean so much to you," he told her as she gave him a small smile. "How many heads of state have you met?" she asked him in amusement as she turned to look at him for a small moment. "I don't remember," he admitted with a chuckle, seeing her point. "They're just my family." she told him as he nodded his head. "that's my point, they mean more to me than heads of state do," he explained to her as she gave him a small smile. "You'll be fine and I'm sure that Blake will keep them in line as well," she noted in amusement as she looked at the sulking PO. He hadn't been too happy that Amelia had commandeered the car to drive, well they better get used to it she figured.

"Are we here?" he asked as she drove onto a small street as she nodded her head. "Yes, two more minutes." she guessed as they drove down the familiar cobbled street where she lived on and then she reached her grandparent's farm. "We're here," she told him as she drove between the two walls that made up part of the house and garage on one side. It was a U shaped structure to the street as she parked the giant Range Rover. God, what would her neighbours think, but then again, they'd be at the barbecue at her mothers, they were almost family to them.

She noticed her grandparents sitting in front of the house up the small steep. "You ready?" she asked him as he let out a heavy sigh before nodding his head. "With you for anything," he promised her as they got out of the car. The dogs ran to the fence, barking as they saw the two strangers with her. Her two tiny dogs were at the front, wagging their tails, happy to see her again as she saw her grandparents get up. Her grandfather calling the dogs who'd been known to give a nip to strangers inside. it was just her two smaller dogs and that of her gran and sister left as she opened the gate.
