Thanks for the reviews and reads, it means a lot to me to know so many people read and like this story.

Laying in her bed in Kensington Palace, she still couldn't believe that yesterday actually happened, it still felt like a dream to her, how did someone come to terms with anything like that. Yes, it was a very happy occurrence indeed, everyone would be happy, and she was. But being engaged to the future king of England was an entire thing altogether, how did one prepare for that, there weren't handbooks for it and few had done what she was about to do now.

"Was yesterday for real?" Amelia wondered when Alex turned on his side to watch her, it was the morning after the announcement of their engagement, they'd partied with their friends till two in the morning, since they hadn't been able to celebrate their engagement with their friends yet. And all of them had wanted to celebrate along with them, celebrate the happy news of them, something they had all waited on for a long time now, especially in Alexander's case.

She'd also asked Emilia if she would be willing to help her out when the portfolios of the designers wanting to design her wedding dress came in. Sure, she would ask Kate and Sophie's help as well, the three of them were her closest friends and confidents. But Emilia had quickly established herself as an important part in her life and had become her best friend her in London, it certainly helped that her boyfriend was also her future husband's best friend and that they tended to spend a lot of time together because of it. She loved Emilia's energy and personality, whilst Amelia could be more serious, Emilia was a bit crazier than she was and managed to get Amelia to relax and she knew that she would come to depend on her in the future months.

And she wouldn't wait to get started on her wedding gown if she was honest. Sure, every woman had imagined what her wedding dress would look like, and she was no different. She'd always been a sucker for lace, she loved how it looked and was able to create illusions at the same time.

And she wasn't sure who would be her bridesmaid either, her sister didn't feel like the right fit. Sure, they were sisters and were family, but they could be at odds a lot of times either and though she had no doubt that she would be there for her on the day, like they always were there for each other when it really mattered. And she also knew how shy her sister could be and she didn't really want her to be put on the spot like that.

She'd love to have Emilia or Sophie or Kate as her bridesmaid as her best friends.

Sophie had been her best friend for 12 years and she'd always been there for her. She' been there for her when it became difficult at times to be Alex's girlfriend. They'd seen each other at their best and at their worst. They'd gotten in to quite a bit of mischief throughout their years at school, she knew Sophie would be making frequent trips to London since she would probably help her plan the wedding and she would probably become her maid of honor.

Then there was the question of who'd become their flower girls and page boys, yes there still needed to be plenty of decisions made and she knew it would be a very long six months till the day that she walked down that aisle to marry her future husband.

"what are you thinking about?" he teased her with a hint of amusement, looking up at him, her hand resting on his chest and she noticed her engagement ring on her finger, the unfamiliar weight would definitely take some time getting used too.

"I don't know, it feels like I'm living through this through someone else's eyes." She admitted to him with a shrug of her shoulder as he went to pull her closer to him, kissing the top of her head.

"It's very real love, we're getting married." He told her as she rubbed her cheek into his chest.

"I know." She grinned at him, tilting her head to look up at him as he leant down to kiss her lips.
