Amelia had returned in a rush from Belgium, and ever since then she'd been rushing in order to get ready for the concert, they had tickets for. Well Alex had mostly sprung it on her from the moment she'd arrived here in London that they were to have dinner first, before going to a concert of The Script.
"Are you sure that we can make it if we get dinner first?" Amelia wondered, walking out of their bathroom, drying her hair. She wasn't sure how he'd even managed to get the tickets, she was a huge fan of theirs, but the tickets when she'd searched to buy them had been sold out, so he'd probably called in a favor to get them the tickets. If she was being honest, she didn't care where he'd gotten them, she was just happy to make it to the concert, it would be the first time she saw them live and she couldn't wait if she was being honest.
"We'll be fine love; we'll take a side entrance, and the restaurant is only five minutes from the arena." He reassured her as he buttoned up his shirt, before turning around to face her and he couldn't help but get a little hot under the collar when he looked at her.
"Too much?" she worried, running her hands down her jumpsuit in a nervous manner. She'd decided to go a bit sexier than what she would normally go for, she was starting to get more confident, being with Alex was really doing wonders for her. She'd never be seen in this outfit before, but no matter what at the end of the day, she was just a woman going out on a date with her boyfriend, she was still dressed appropriately, just a bit sexier than usual, and she loved the effect if was seeming to have on her boyfriend as she walked up to him.
She'd once again burrowed a pair of Kate's shoes; it did come handy that they had the same shoe size. And as Kate once put it, the day she became a member of the family and even before, there was no point in buying the same shoes twice, if they could share it between them. So, she'd opened her closet for her to burrow from whenever she needed something.
In return Amelia had done the same, not that she would find as much there as Amelia would find in her closet. But she hoped to return the favor one day, sure Kate was a lot taller than her which would cause a problem for some things, but they could share jewelry and shoes for a start.
"No, you look amazing love." He grinned down at her, wrapping his arms around her waist as he pulled her closer against him.
"But I do have to wonder, is it for me or for them?" he asked her with a teasing tone, but she could hear the hint of seriousness underneath the humor as well.
"Sweetheart, I've already told you, I only have eyes for you and no one else, you're work enough already." She teased him, patting his chest with her hands as he let out a snort, shaking his head down at her, before leaning down to kiss her lips.
"Good, because I don't want to share you with anyone, and I know all eyes will be on you tonight." He told her, as she looked up at him with a roll of her eyes.
"A good thing we'll be in the dark for most of the night then." She quipped as he shook his head in amusement as he leant down to steal another kiss.
"Good thing indeed." He whispered in her ear as he gave her earlobe a little nip.
"You're going to be the dead of me." She told him as she gave him one final kiss before stepping away and gathering her stuff as Alex went to do the same before, they headed for the car.

"How was the change of the ward?" Alex asked her as they sat opposite of each other at the restaurant, they'd just started their desert before they'd head towards the arena.
