"I promise."

//Sherlock POV//

Since I had promised, I had to come clean. I told him everything I knew, secrets or not. I told him about my past, which haunts me, my present, which for the moment is great, and my plans for the future.

When I told him my plans, he didn't stop smiling. I told him I wanted to get married one day, maybe have some children. he told me the same. I couldn't stop smiling. If anybody had saw us, they'd thought that we were lunatics. Truth be told, we are.

I was half way through telling John about my future plans, when my phone started to ring. At first I ignored it, but once it had rung 3 times I decided to pick it up.

"What?" I snapped, irritated.

I heard an Irish voice from the other end of the line. "Was I interrupting something, Sherly?" Ugh. Moriarty.

"Yes, actually. You were. Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to get back to it. By-"

"No, Sherlock. Don't hang up please, I'd like to talk to you. About the murders in Ireland. There's been two more. Last night. I've bought the plane tickets for you and John. you have to come. Oh, and I'm not the murderer, I growled in interest and frustration.

"Fine. When's the flight for?"

"Tomorrow morning. 9am. I'll meet you two at the airport. See you then."

And then he hung up on me.

"John, we're going on holiday." I smiled.

This was perfect for what I had planned. I had bought everything, but couldn't find the right moment. We'd be there for two weeks. I'd need no more than 10 days so we'd have 4 days left over. Thats the perfect amount of time for what I have planned. All I had to do then was get the courage to ask.

I just hope he says "yes."
