Moon Explanation

A moon is almost equivalent to a month.

Leader:
Max: 27 seasons (108 moons)
Min: 8 seasons 6 moons (30 moons)
Explanation: A leader must have been a deputy before becoming leader (duh), and a deputy has their own requirements, so the youngest leader possible would be 30 moons. Averaging each of the leader's live's to one year, it would add up to 108 moons, which is equal to 9 human years.

Deputy
Max: Undefined
Min: 4 seasons 6 moons (20 moons)
Explanation: A deputy has to have have gone through apprenticeship (duh) and in my opinion must be a senior warrior (Firestar was an exception). According to the Warrior Code, a deputy must have apprenticed at least one apprentice, which means they can be no younger than 18 moons. The extra two come from my opinion that they should be a warrior for at least 2 moons before taking on an apprentice.

Warrior
Max: Eldership
Min: 4 seasons, 1 moon (13 moons)
Explanation: A warrior must have gone through apprenticeship(duh), which lasts 6 moons, putting the warrior at 12 moons, and when those are through the cat is 13 moons old. A warrior is a warrior until it can no longer serve, at which point it becomes an elder.

Apprentice
Max: 12 moons (Unless Medicine Cat Apprentice)
Min: 6 moons
Explanation: An apprentice must have gone through kithood (which lasts 6 moons (last duh)) to become an apprentice. The apprenticeship itself lasts 6 moons, unless you are the Medicine Cat apprentice which lasts until the previous Medicine Car dies or retires.

Kit
Max: 5 Moons
Min: Birth
Explanation: A cat enters the world as a kit (apparently there are a few more duh's. Sorry.) The kithood lasts 5 moons (I told you were more duh's). After said 5 moons, the kit moves onto apprenticeship.

Elder
Max: Death
Min: 22 seasons (88) moons
Explanation: After a warrior has served his/her clan loyally, they become an elder, where the clan they served will now serve them. Eldership lasts until death.
