~Dell POV ~
"Hey Dell?"
I turned to see Haku stood behind me, messing with some wires. I glared at her, annoyed she'd disturbed me from my work.
"What?"
"Remember Miku? Her family got back today. There's some others with them though."
"Do we know them?"
"Nope."
"Huh."
I turned back to the white screen and raked a hand through my hair. Miku is back...but why did I know to expect this? I sighed and straightened my keyboard before tapping some keys.
"Well..."
"Yes Haku?"
"I thought you two were friends. Aren't ya gonna go visit her?"
"I don't know her new address."
"Luckily for you, Taito knows it through Kaito. Want it?"

I walked up the drive to Miku's new house. I was greeted with an icy glare from an ugly blonde girl with a ridiculously big side ponytail. I heard her muttering under her breath as I passed her:
"What is it with Miku and attracting freaks today?"
Haku frowned at her before quickening her pace to walk alongside me. I looked over at her; she'd been a fairly good friend of Miku's. Her red eyes sparkled, betraying her excitement. I fought the urge to make a smart comment and kept my head down. Eventually we reached the large wooden door.
"Well, knock then."
I looked over to Haku, who was watching me expectantly.
"Fine, fine."
I raised my arm to knock on the door, until it whipped open in my face. Mikuo was at the door, and he frowned sharply at me.
"Do you mind? This our house, not the circus."
"Actually, Mikuo Hatsune, I think you'll find we're here to see your sister Miku."
Mikuo sighed heavily and yelled out:
"MIKU! YOU HAVE GUESTS!!"
I heard a distant voice reply, and then footsteps coming down stairs. Mikuo walked off back into the house as Miku came to the door.
"Hi! How come you're here?"
"H-Hey, Miku...I came to say welcome back..."
"Oh, well thank you! I have to go see to someone right now, but I might see you at school?"
She smiled brightly at me.
"Uh...yeah, I guess so..."
With that, she closed to door.
As I walked away with Haku, I felt my heart sink. She'd barely spoken directly to me. Did I even matter to her anymore? Had she got a new best friend other than me? I'd clearly been too hopeful.
"Don't worry bro. She's probably just so busy with moving she couldn't stay and chat."
Although Haku's kind words made me feel a little better, I couldn't help feeling something was wrong with how Miku behaved today. She's usually always talking and asking questions. She almost never says she's too busy and to talk to you later.
Maybe I'm not worth anything to her anymore.
Maybe I was never worth anything to her.
