"Dell! Dell? Dell Honne, right? Len, are you sure that's his name?"

I wasn't even going to turn around. From his annoying voice, I could tell it was that ice-cream loving freak Kaito.

I hated Kaito.

Simply because of his relationship with Miku. They'd been dating for a while until she left, and it always annoyed me because I love Miku. I should have gotten her, not him.

But I could never tell her my feelings because we were just friends.

I kept on walking, praying for an ice-cream van to come and hit Kaito, and tried my best to ignore him.

"DELL! D-E-L-L H-O-N-N-E!!"

I turned round and glared at him.

"What do you want, idiot?"

I know what I wanted. To slap that stupid grin off his stupid face.

"W-e-ell...you know that teal-haired girl I dated like, 2 years ago?"

"Miku. And it was 3 years."

"Yeah, her. Well, apparently her brother finished in college and they're coming back."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I mean, it's not like anyone wants them back, but I figured I should tell you 'cause you were neighbours, right?"

"Yes."

"We have three weeks to come up with something to ruin their arrival."

"Why would we do that?"

"Because everyone hates them."

I couldn't stop myself. I lunged at Kaito and slapped him as hard as I could - which is pretty hard since Haku taught me - and glared at him. His expression changed from happiness to shock, and a few feet away I saw Len's bright blue eyes widen before he burst into laughter. I turned on my heel and walked off.

-

"Haku? HAKU! I'm back!"

I walked through the house searching for my sister. She told me she'd be here...unless she was at Taito's house. However Taito lives in the same household as Kaito, so I was in no rush to go find her.

I decided to go upstairs and see if I could find anything on Miku - I was always on my laptop tirelessly to try and find details on her from anyone that might possibly know her - but nothing ever came up.

I knew I was wasting my time, but I can't give up on her.

I walked into my room to find Haku and Taito, on my bed, naked and having sex. Empty bottles were scattered along the floor, and among the mess was my laptop and a few boxes of cigarettes. I'd get her for the mess later.

"HAKU YOWANE! CAN YOU PLEASE DO THIS IS YOUR OWN ROOM?!"

Haku looked up, and she fell off the bed in surpise.

"Ow...Dell, next time...don't yell in my eardrums."

She grumbled at me as she picked herself up off the floor, then grabbed Taito and stumbled down the hallway to her room. I heard the door slam and I pick my way through her mess to my desk.

Looking for Miku was harder than I'd first thought. I'd e-mailed her a few times, with no response. Miku barely ever checked her e-mails - she'd always told me that.

Next I'd tried to find out what school she went to, with little success. I found a girl called Miku Zatsune, but that was the closest I got.

I went to Rin and Teto and Gumi - everyone I remembered her being friends with - but they said they didn't know much, only that it was miles away from here.

It was like she disappeared into thin air.
