Letter

So, before my mom and dad got married, my dad proposed my mom with a card with a picture of a train ticket on it asking permission to board it for ever after. This was my mother's reply.....

"In reference to your Card"

An applicant seeking for "Happy journey" in shape of reservation, is required to supply all or any of the following particulars as soon as possible:-

a) Name of applicant
b) Father's name
c) age (real one)
d) particulars of identity card or passport as the case may be.
e) religion
f) name or names of girl friends.

Note:-
1) Permit shall be non-transferable
2) the permit granting authority (me) may refuse to grant permit if in its opinion the applicant's intend to misuse it
3) Applicant shall be a good listener.
4) the reservation authority may from time to time fix the maximum quantity and she is also competent to increase or decrease the number of phone calls.
5) the authority granting permission under her rules may cancel it or suspend it for reasons to be recorded in writing (not in English)
6) No permit under these rules shall be used as means to disturb or tease her
7) a permit holder (may be you) under rules shall produce his permit on simple demand by the any member of jury.
8) the following fees will be charged on the grant of permission:-

i- be loyal
ii- be generous
iii- good listener and a bit deaf
iv- be passionate
v- a little bit realistic— at least on phone calls
vi- most of all only mine

: Precautions :

A) an applicant will not be allowed after reservation to over crowd the train, otherwise without show cause notice, he will be kicked out at once
B) before applying for permission, applicant should be very clear that this train will go non-stop and will not drop you off till end of life.
