I woke up to my phone being blown up. I fully open my eyes and see that Taylor is still asleep next to me. I slowly rolled over and saw multiple texts from Mateo and Bear asking where I was. I replied telling them that I was at the house. I looked over at Taylor. She was still asleep. Thank goodness. I got up and went to the kitchen. I got a glass of water and replied to the boy's texts. I told them that I was fine and at the house. They needed a ride but I told them they can get their own ride. I went back to my room and noticed that Taylor was awake

"Good morning," I said sitting down on the foot of the bed

"Morning," She replied

"What do you want to do today?"

"I dunno," she replied

"Want to go somewhere?" I asked

"Sure,"

"where?" I asked

"You can pick,"

"Want to go to a board walk?"

"that sounds fun!" She replied

"Okay," I said "Want to go to your apartment and get some clothes?"

"Yeah actually,"

"Okay.. Let's go" I said standing up.

We both stand up and go to my car. We get in and She gives me the address of her new apartment. We arrive quickly and we both go inside. I sit down on her couch and She goes to her room to change. She comes out fairly quickly and We both get back into my car. I take a quick stop to Biggby coffee. I got me an iced coffee and Taylor her favorite.

"Awww you remembered?" She said

"Of course I did Tay," I said with a soft smile

she smiled and blushed slightly.

"Thanks," She said pulling out money to give to me to pay for it.

I pushed her hand back "No. I'm paying for this," I said

We got back out on the road a drove to a nearby boardwalk. Taylor and I hung out all day. It got dark out quicker than we had thought. We ended up going to a bigger board walk later. We even got the chance to go on a Ferris wheel. Taylor wanted to because she confessed that she's never been to a big boardwalk like this. I agreed and we went on it. Her sitting on the opposite side of me. The Ferris wheel stopped when our cart was at the top. Great. I'm stuck at the top of a Ferris wheel with the girl I broke up with almost nine months ago AND I still have feelings for.

"Taylor?"

Uh oh, here it comes

"Yeah?" She said turning her head away from the water to look at me

"I... I.. Taylor I still love you. I couldn't and can't move on from you." I confessed

"Tanner I-I.. I'mm glad you said that. I'm the same way," She smiled lightly

I grabbed her face and pulled it closer to mine and pressed my lips against hers. God I missed this.

We both pulled away and looked at each other flustered

"Will you go out with me gain?" Taylor asked

"Yes," I said grabbing her hand

We both smiled at each other, finally happy again.
