Alice and I texted awhile last night. It was around four in the morning g when bear returned home.

"You left me. Again!"

"Sorry dude but I ditched the lame ass party and hung out with someone," I explained

"Who is someone?"

"Alice,"

"Oooo,"

"Don't even try it Bear," I threatened

He walked off with his hands up in defense.

I rolled my eyes and texted Alice.

Me: Hey
⭐️AℓᎥce⭐️: can I call you?
Me: yeah sure

I waited a moment and my phone began to ring. Instead of calling she accidentally FaceTimed me.

"Oops sorry," she said

"It's fine I told her,"

"Okay then,"

"Wanna hang out later?" I asked jumping into my bed and falling down.

"Sure. Meet me at the skate park at noon?"

It was 10:24 now.

"Sure,"

"Okay I'll see you then,"

Just then I heard someone yell. Alice threw down her phone and I could only see her ceiling.

"Alison Jane!" Someone yelled

"Yes?!" Alice replies

I hear footsteps come Into the room

"Where were you last night?" A man yelled

"I was hanging out with a friend," she replied nervously

"Why'd you come home so late!"

"Because we lost track of time," she defended herself "We were at the skate park,"

The connection was fuzzy and I couldn't make out the words they were yelling at each other. She looked down at her phone and she freaked out. There were tears streaming down her face and she ended the call.

I quickly texted her saying I'd pick her up. She read it but didn't reply. I got up and put on a different shirt. I then went out and sat In the living room. Bear was on the couch next to me.

"Where are you going?" He asked

"Out," I replied

"Out where Tanner?"

"With a friend," I said and got up. I opened my door and Kiki hopped In.

"When did you get out?" I asked as she stepped into the back seat.

I rolled my eyes and let her come with me. I pulled onto Alice's block and saw her sitting on the curb.

I pulled up in front of her and rolled down my window

"Wanna go somewhere?" I asked

She looked up from her lap and smiled. She walked in front of my car and she climbed inside.

"You've been warned," I said

"Warned about wha-" she was cut off by a dog climbing into the front licking her face

"That," I laughed

"Opff," she muffled as Kiki climes Into her lap

"Kiki down," I commanded and she crawled into the backseat
