I sat in the chair for a few hours. It was around 3:00 in the morning. I was dog tired and I kept dozing off. I heard a door open and I looked up.

"Tanner Fox?"

I stood up and the nurse walked over to me.

"Yes?"

"Well she does have a minor concussion and she is in a coma right now. She had a fractured nose and a little bit of blood loss." She explained looking at her clipboard

"Can I see her?" I asked getting ansi

"Not yet no," she said frowning "she's not quite ready yet but I'll get you when she is. And don't worry. She's doing fine. But we do need to know if she has family here."

"Yes, yes." Um her dad lives here in town and her mother is in the military so she isn't home.

"Okay thank you. Names?"

"Evan Watson," I said "i do believe her mom's name was Julieta Watson,"

"Thank you so much," she smiled

I returned the smile and sat back down in the chair. I smiled to myself knowing that she was okay. I then dozed off a little more so I could at least get some rest."

I felt my shoulder being shaken a little bit. I opened my eyes and looked up.  I saw Evan standing in front of me.

"Hey kid," he said

"Hi sir," I said sitting up a little more from my recent slouching position

"How's she doing?" He asked

"She's doing okay. She had a slight concussion, a fractured nose, and she's in a coma," I informed him

"How'd this happened?" He asked

"She got Into a fight with another girl and refused to hit back."

He chucked a little "sounds like her,"

"Yeah,"

"How long have you been here?" He asked

"A while," I said blowing air "about 4 hours,"

"Wow," he replied "why don't you go home,"

"No, no. I'm fine here. I don't want anything to happen,"

"Tanner I'll let you know if anything happens. Besides you look like you murdered someone," he laughed

I looked Down at my blood stained shirt. He was right.

"Okay it I'll only be gone an hour tops," I said to him

"Okay," he said "maybe take a nap too. You look exhausted,"

"I am exhausted," I admitted

"Get something to eat, change, maybe take a nap,"

"Okay, thank you Sir," I said smiling

"Anytime Tanner,"

I got up and drove home to change. I was gone for about 15 minutes by now. I wanted to go back but I was so tired. I climbed into bed and took a 25 minute nap. I then got up put my shoes back on and drove back. Before I got there I stopped at McDonald's and got a ten piece chicken nugget. I had texted Evan and asked if he wanted anything. He said a water so I ordered him one. I then completed my drive to the hospital and ate.
