Voice (Rosé x reader)

Chapter 1

Y/N POV
I hummed softly as I tapped to the rhythm of the recording of Rosé's cover of eyes closed. I sat at the back of the classroom, hunched over the table as I waited for the teacher to come into class for the first period. I heard whistling and I looked up. Park Chaeyoung, also known as Rosé, walked into the classroom and my heart started to race.

Her guitar slung across her shoulders, her bag carried in her hands. I smiled slightly at her flustered face, she's so cute. Her cheeks were a little cubby, making her look like a chipmunk.

"Hey! She's mine." I whipped my head to the left side of the classroom and saw Kang Jaeyoung walk up towards her and wrap his arm around her. "Hey babe." He greeted before giving her a peck on her cheek. I rolled my eyes. I can't help but envy Jaeyoung. He's tall, handsome and muscular. His hair was slightly messy, he was in the school's Soccer team. He's everything you would describe a jock.

I watched in silence as he pulled Chaeyoung to the desk next to his and pulled the chair out for her to sit. I looked at the empty desk beside me and sighed. What was I thinking? The school's prettiest singer liking me back? Besides, there are tons of other more good looking students out there who dream to take Jaeyoung's place. I bitterly watched as Jaeyoung leaned next to Chaeyoung and whispered something in her ear, resulting into her bursting into laughter.

Her laughter. It was beautiful. If only I could be the one who makes her laugh. But as Long as she's happy, I would be too. "Hey Y/N!" Jisoo greeted, grinning widely. I smiled as she pulled the chair beside me out and sat down.

Plugging out my ear pieces, I greeted her back and patted her head softly, in which she whined in return. She looked towards Chaeyoung and Jaeyoung's direction and mouth an "O" before she patted my shoulder. "It's ok, I'm here. Jisoo is here." She comforted. I nodded and hugged her.
