Voice (Rosé x reader)

Chapter 36

Third POV
Day 1
It was day one of Y/N's week of courting. Rosé woke up and shuffled towards the living room. Her hair was a mess and she was still wearing her pajamas. "Oh hey." Y/N grins and Rosé mumbled a sleepy reply in response, still not awake to be energetic in the morning. "You look beautiful." Y/N smiled adoringly at Rosé, causing Rosé to blush furiously.

"I haven't even washed up fully yet."

Y/N let out a chuckle before grinning, "you still look great." She then walked around the kitchen counter with two plates in her hand and a rose in between her teeth, "for my Rosie." Y/N grinned cheekily before setting down a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon in front of Rosé and handing the rose to her, who rolled her eyes before letting out a short laugh. They both ate in comfortable silence before they headed out for school.

After school ended, Y/N grinned at Rosé after she shoved all her books into her bag. "Are you ready?" She asked, causing Rosé to raise a brow in confusion.

"For what?"

Y/N grinned even wider before offering her a hand as she bows. "We must get going Rosie." Confused, Rosé placed her hand in Y/N's and Y/N intertwined their hands together. The other remaining people in class were staring at them, much to Rosé's discomfort.

"Y/N," Rosé whispers, causing Y/N to stand straight and look at her in attention. "Can we not hold hands here? I don't want people to have the wrong idea." She says timidly. Y/N nodded before smiling in reassurance. She gently lets go of Rosé's hand before letting Rosé walk out of the classroom before doing so herself. Once they were out of the school campus, Rosé slips her back into Y/N, much to Y/N's delight. "So where are we off to now?"

Y/N looks at her, eyes twinkling in excitement. "An 'all you can eat' korean BBQ!"

After they were done, the duo walked back home, bellies full from the delicious meal they had. They laughed as they walked back, Y/N spilling some of her childhood stories, causing Rosé to burst in fits of giggle. Rosé was contented, for her belly was full and her heart was light in happiness.

Day 2
Rosé woke up, this time Y/N presented her with an orange begonia. After school, Y/N had brought Rosé to the sea aquarium, much to Rosé delight, who couldn't contain her excitement as she squealed in joy as she watched the fishes swim by with her palms pressed against the glass. She even got to feed the fishes as well as a seal, which Y/N was terribly afraid of, much to her amazement.

Day 3
This time, Y/N had given her a sunflower with a big grin. Y/N brought Rosé to a shopping mall afterwards, where they went to a build-a-bear outlet and made two matching bears together. Afterwards, they headed into a pet shop, since Rosé wanted to buy a "cute tuxedo" that was displayed behind the glass when they passed the shop for Fluffers. They had dinner at an Italian restaurant, where Y/N ordered a plate of pasta while Rosé ordered a plate of cheese baked rice. Rosé also tried a bite of Y/N's pasta, claiming that she didn't like pasta but ended up taking more than just one bite.

Day 4
Y/N presented a green gladiolus when Rosé woke up this time. Y/N then brought Rosé to a pet cafe, where Rosé spent most of her attention on the animals that were running about and playing with them than on Y/N, who was sulking and regretting her decision of going there in the first place. After they had dinner at a ramen restaurant, the duo took a stroll in the park. It was a chilly evening, and there weren't many people around. Y/N had taken off her jacket and handled it to Rosé, who was only wearing a thin shirt. Rosé protested, her heart pounding as she blushed furiously and she couldn't help but find Y/N adorable when she pouted. After protesting and much persuasion from Y/N that she wasn't cold, Rosé allowed Y/N to slip her arm into the jacket before she buried herself in the jacket, feeling a sense of comfort in it.

Day 5
Y/N had given Rosé a blue Himalaya poppy and brought Rosé to Lotte world, where the duo had the time of their lives on the roller coasters and other rides. They took loads of pictures and they both let themselves run a little wilder and free than they would usual do, laughing as they took numerous photographs together. Rosé never felt this much joy when Jaeyoung had brought her here. He had brought some of the footballers as well as cheerleaders along to their supposedly "date" and Rosé was left out in most of the fun. But Y/N gave Rosé all her attention and made sure she was having just as much fun as Y/N was. It felt nice to be spending time alone with her, and Rosé felt her heart racing for Y/N whenever she flashed her a smile.
