Y/N POV
I carried my books in my arms, listening to music as I walked towards my locker. Jisoo was still in class, we both have different timetables since she does science and maths while I did music, or so I thought. My locker shamed close abruptly and I yelped. Turning towards my right, Jisoo laughed while her hand was still on the door of my locker.

"Hey! I could've gotten a heart attack." I pouted as I place my hand on my chest. Jisoo rolled her eyes then ruffled my hair. I grunted before smacking her hand away. She smiled, "want to go grab ice cream?"

I thought for a moment. "Nah. I'll go to the piano, next time maybe." I rejected and her smile deflated, then she beamed at me.

"It's ok. You'll be at the music room?" She asked. I nodded, shoving the rest of my book into the locker. She nodded, ruffled my hair one last time before running off, grabbing her bag tightly. I shrugged before making my way to the piano in he music room.

Jisoo POV
I ran as fast as I could to the ice cream shop. I flung open the door and the familiar "ding" echoed through the shop. Causing my brother to drop the stack of paper cups he was carrying.

"Oi! Jisoo-ah! Do you wish to break down the door?" My Brother, Jiwoon, scolded as he looked at the floor, paper cups strewn on the ground.

"Nyeongan Oppa."

My Mother owns the ice cream shop, so Jiwoon and I often go there after school to help out. We alternate days and today was his turn.

"One coffee and one vanilla ice cream." I asked, walking behind the counter to put my bag in one of the locker. My Brother rolled his eyes and scooped up two large servings of ice cream, sticking a small red spoon in each of the cup before passing it to me.

"That'll be seven dollars." He told me, smirking. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the ice cream before running back to school. I walked towards the music room. I could here soft music coming from the room, smiling, I stood outside for a while for deciding to go in. Her back was facing me, her back hunched as her fingers dance across the keys. My heart started to race as I approached her, waiting for her to finish her piece before passing her the cup of ice cream.

"What?" She asked, puzzled as she took the cup of ice cream from me.

"It's for you." She smiled then thanked me. She got off the chair and sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall. She pulled me down gently, which I gladly accepted and started digging into her ice cream.

I looked at her. Her nose slightly scrunching up as she shove mouths after mouths of ice cream. She stopped eating and looked at me. "Your ice cream is going to melt." She pointed out before scooping some more into her mouth.

"No," I whined and pouted. She laughed softly before ruffling my hair. After she was done, she place the ice cream on the ground, wiped her hands on her jeans before sitting on the chair again.

"As a thank you, I'd play you a song." She grinned.

I shoved a mouthful of ice cream into my mouth as I felt my cheeks heat up. "Silly, we're best friends, we've done this a couple of times already." I smiled bitterly, best friends. Why can't we be more than that?

"I know. But I know you love to hear me play." She replied, grinning widely as she placed her hands on the keys, ready to play. "This is for you Jis."
