Third POV
Jaeyoung roared in anger. "I gave you one job! You only had one goddamn job! And you didn't even manage to fucking complete it!" He raged.

"I'm sorry, I'm trying. If you could just give me more time-" Ron pleaded, desperately trying to calm Jaeyoung.

"Time? How much time have you wasted already." Jaeyoung growled. "You know what, you're useless. You're done. Go home."

"What? No! Jaeyoung! Please. I need money. My dad needs it. Please Jaeyoung." Ron cried out desperately.

"Who the fuck cares about your father? He's going to die anyways. That old man is so sickly, you're only going to waste more money to try to cure him." Jaeyoung spat.

"Jaeyoung please. Give me another chance." Ron says as he falls to his knees, begging.

"Okay. I will give you one last chance. Forget breaking them up. I want the other one dead. Rosé belongs to me only. Kill the other one, and bring Rosé to me. Don't kill her, but bring her to me. Unconscious or conscious, I don't care. As long as she's alive." Jaeyoung says. "But if you fail to do so, I will get rid of you and you can go beg someone else for the money."

Ron looked at Jaeyoung in fear. "You want me to kill Y/N?"

"Are you deaf?"

"Jaeyoung, please. She's innocent."

"I don't give a fuck about that. Do you think she wouldn't come find me if Rosé is with me? That bitch stole my girl. I want her dead."

"Jaeyoung. I can't kill her. I'll be locked up!"

"So? You'll be locked. Not me. Where do you think the money is coming from? My own bank account? Like I would bother paying you just to do this, there's no such thing as a free lunch." Jaeyoung growled. "Mrs Park paid me large sums to get Rosé back to being mine and only mine. Now go."

However, Ron did not budge. He remained rooted to the ground, both in fear and anger. Kill an innocent person just because of some woman paying Jaeyoung to get his girlfriend back? No way. "No." He says, voice cracking in slight fear but still firm and strong with determination.

"No?" Jaeyoung questions, voice dangerously low.

"Yes. You heard me. I said no."

"Why not?"

"Because Y/N has done nothing wrong and Rosé as well. I used to be your best friend, Jaeyoung. I can tell when you're lying. I knew you cheated on Rosé, not the other way round. I just never spoke up because I had too many things going on in my life. I was stressed because of my father's health. And now he's lying on the hospital bed and I can hardly afford his bills. So I turned to you. But I never knew you were this kind of person." Ron says, disappointment laced his words.

Jaeyoung yawned loudly before looking at his expensive watch. "Look Ron. No one wants to listen to your life story. Help me or there's no money."

Ron looked at the ground, fists clenched as he trembled. Hastily, he wiped away his tears. But it didn't matter anymore, because Jaeyoung saw them. "What, are you crying? Coward. You think crying will make me show you some empathy or compassion?" He scoffed. "So is it a deal or no deal?"

Ron's body shook even more as he tried to hold in his tears, knowing what choice he was going to make. I'm sorry father, but I will find a way to get you better. But for now, let me do what's right, like you've always taught me to do so. "My answer is no."

Jaeyoung's face morphed into an angry expression but he quickly changed into his signature smile. The smile that fooled everyone. The smile that made him looked as if he was an angel. The smile that most of the girls would swoon over. The smile that Ron used to admire. But now, Ron was afraid of it. He was disgusted by it. Jaeyoung slowly made his way to Ron before stretching his hand out. "Come, my friend. Stand." With that, Ron rose from the ground in confusion.

Jaeyoung opened his arms and gestures for a hug, but when he realised Ron wasn't going to embrace him, he took a step forward before hugging him. He smiled slyly. "Goodbye, best friend." He says and he slid Ron's pocketknife out of the back pocket of Ron's jeans, where he normally kept it, flipped it open before stabbing it into Ron's back. Ron gasped in shock and pain, and Jaeyoung shoved him away, wiping his hands on his jeans.

"I guess you could say, I've backstabbed you." Jaeyoung laughed maniacally.

"I trusted you." Ron whispered, his face going paler by the second. "I'm glad you cheated on Rosé, I wouldn't want her to continue being with you anyways. She was far better than you." With that, Ron collapsed onto the ground. His blood seeping out of his wound where the pocketknife awkwardly stuck out. His breathing was harsh and rapid and his body was shuddering as he coughed out blood. After a while, he went completely still.

Jaeyoung shook his head. "Pity. Now I'll have to do all the work on my own."

Rosé walked home happily. She was able to finish up most of her work and had gotten snacks for another disney marathon with Y/N. Just then, she felt someone yank her by the back of her shirt into an alley. Panic seized her as she screamed, squirming to break free from whatever or whoever that was grabbing her. She was then harshly shoved against a wall and a man in a mask stood before her.

The man ripped off his mask before grinning at her. "Hello babe." Jaeyoung greeted before smiling even wider. "Missed me?" He laughed before raising a baseball bat and Rosé's vision went black.
