Chapter 3: over sideways 🤸🏼‍♀️

I wake up at around 7 and shower. Then I get dressed, I pull about five different outfits out my closet before I find one I like. A silk blue top, black leather jacket, denim shorts and thigh high black boots. I apply the same makeup I always wear, mascara and winged eye liner. My hair is back in it's signature side braid. Then I wake lonnie up,
"Morning." I say.
"Morning." She wakes up and gets ready for school. I lay on my bed listening to music and going through my phone whilst I wait. When Lonnie is ready we leave. We get a slice of toast for breakfast then walk to our first lesson. We both have English, after a lesson of learning how to expand our vocabulary of the English Language. Me and Lonnie split up, and I go to my next lesson which is maths with Ben.
"Hello your royal highness," I put on a very posh accent and curtsy as I see the brown haired boy in front of me.
"Well good afternoon servant, now lead me to my class." Ben plays along,
"My pleasure!" We laugh and walk into maths. The lesson goes by extremely slow, apparently learning about calculus and analysis takes a long time. When the bell finally rings I walk to my next lesson. P.e. I'm dreading it. I walk to the gym, at least we don't have tourney! I think trying to lift my spirits. Instead we are doing gymnastics , I'm decent at a lot of sports Mum says I got it from my father but never told me who that was, I'm super flexible and small and slim. Anyway I meet Mal outside the changing rooms and we go in to change. Then we meet the rest of the class in the gym.
"Ok guys!" Coach booms so we can hear "we are going to be doing gymnastics. First excersis is you need to warm up and stretch!" He looks at us as no one moves. "Now!" He screams.
"Wow that man has some serious anger issues." Mal whispers as we start jogging around the gym.
"It's also like he thinks we are all deaf," Jay adds running up along side us with Carlos. After two laps we do some simple stretches and I line up to do cartwheels, I jump lightly into one then carry on across the hall. Then I spring into a handstand and walk back to the VK's on my hands, I then kick over and finish with a walkover. As I turn I see Mal and Carlos wide eyed starring at me, and Jay is just smirking.
"Elle why didn't you say you amazing at gymnastics?" Carlos asks shaking his head.
"I've know you like two days! It's not the first thing I say to people I just meet." I shrug,
"How did you learn?" Mal asks,
"Mum says my dad showed me when I was little and I got my flexibility and speed and stuff from him."
"Who's your dad?" Carlos asks, Mal face palms and Jay slaps his arm. "Ow!"
"Dude!" Jay tells him off,
"It's fine. I don't know my mum won't tell me."
"Oh." Carlos scratches behind his neck "sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"It's no problem." I leap backwards into a back handspring and do five then a back flip.
"She freaking amazing!" Jay exclaims, "imma have to show her up!" He throws himself sideways into a round off back handspring double full twist.
"Not bad." We high five. After the lessons over we head to lunch. I pick up a cheese sandwich and then we all walk to the VK gang table.
"Can we eat outside today?" Doug asks when we arrive.
"Yeh it really hot." Lonnie adds.
"Sure," Mal agrees. We all leave the big dining hall and sit on the grass,
"So what's the latest gossip?" Evie asks laying with her head on Doug's leg. Yeh, I'm not sure if I mentioned, Evie and Doug are dating and so are Ben and Mal.
"Well Elle is just amazing at all sports apparently." Mal says, I feel my cheeks go a light pink.
"Better than Lonnie and Jay?" Ben asks astonished,
"Definitely." Carlos states, Jay gives him a look.
"Ok then hand stand completion, all three of us who can hold it the longest." Jay challenges standing up.
"Whatever." Lonnie says and stands up. I just sit my legs out in straddle and do a press handstand to get into a handstand. The other two glance at each other and kick into a handstand. I walk around casually on my hands, while the others concentrate to keep their balance. After 10 minutes Lonnie fell out of her handstand.
"Omg I can't feel my legs!" She exclaims when she lands. I was still walking around the group like a contortionist with my back bent. After another five minutes Jay fell down.
"I win!" I shout happily and finish with a front walkover.
"She beat you both and did it in 4 inch heels." Evie grins,
"Yeh. She's better than you." Ben laughs,
"At gymnastics!" Jay scoffs "and she's like tiny and super light so it's easy for her."
"Hey!" I exclaim and sit cross legged next to Carlos and Evie. "I'm not that small." Which is true I'm only a little under average,
"Yeh, she not much shorter than you Jay she's like the same height as Mal." Lonnie protests protectively.
"Your just a sore loser!" Carlos teases,
"You know you have to share a room with me idiot?" Jay laughs at Carlos comment.
"I'm gonna die!" He whispers to me. I giggle. After lunch we all go to our last lessons then back to our dorms for homework. At about 8pm there's a knock on the door. Me and Lonnie are already in our pjs. Mine are light blue shorts and a plain white T-shirt that reaches my knees, and Lonnie has a green and pink set. We look at each other,
"Who is it?" She calls,
"You VK besties." Evie's voice calls, we grin and I unlock the door. There stand Evie and Mal. Evie in a royal blue onesie and Mal with purple shorts and a green top tucked into them.
"I'm surprised you didn't come straight in," I say,
"I told her to wait, cause you might be getting changed or something." Mal rolls her eyes playfully.
"So, what's up?" Lonnie asks,
"Sleep over at the other half of the VK's room." Evie states jumping up and down and clapping.
"Oh no! Not one of these again." Lonnie falls back on her bed.
"What happens?" I ask,
"Well last time Jay and Mal almost had to kiss, thanks to Carlos And Mal almost turned into a dragon she was that mad at him. Then Jay dared Carlos to run across the tourney field in his pjs yelling 'I love Lonnie' and Doug dared Lonnie to let me give her a full face of makeup."Evie explains happily.I look over at Mal who has a smirk plastered on her face.
"Serves him right for daring me and Jay to kiss," she grins.
"I hate these sleepovers!" Lonnie groans,
"Come on!" Evie says and skips down the hall to the boys dorm. We all follow. Evie throws open the door and bounds in,
"God Evie! Ever heard of knocking?" Carlos shrieked.
"Sorry did I scare you?" Evie smirks,
"No." He relplies looking away. The blue haired girl sits herself next to Doug, Mal sits next to the king and I sit next to Lonnie and Ben.
"So what are we gonna do?" Ben asks,
"Truth or dare!" Evie calls, everyone groans but doesn't argue.
"Ok truth or dare..."

So I added the sleepover because the chapter felt too short, the next will be more entertaining. And a big secret gets revealed... I think. Also this is a rlly bad chapter sorry 😊
