Chapter 9: a new fantastic point of view 👀

Carlos POV:

I'm so stupid! I didn't want to tell Elle I was her friend because I have a massive crush on Her. But now she just thinks I'm a complete jerk!

Time skip to the meeting at Elle and Lonnies:

I walk in with Jay and Doug to see Lonnie laying on her bed.
"Where Elle?" I ask,
"she's in the bathroom." Lonnie shrugs,
"Where's Mal and blueberry?" Jay asks flopping on Elle's bed.
"Not here yet." Then Elle walks out, she glares at me. Then smirks,
"Come here stripe!" She says in a singsong voice, then the little Dalmatian puppy trots out of the bathroom. I gasp and jump up onto Lonnie's bed. Everyone laughs and I blush embarrassed. Elle walks over to her bed,
"Move doofus!" She says pushing Jay of her bed,
"Woah sorry moody." Jay holds his hands up and sits on the floor. Then Mal and Evie walk in,
"Blueberry i need to talk to you!" I announce and drag Evie outside again.
"What's up Carlos?" She says,
"Basicallyitoldelleiwasntherfriendbecauseihaveamassivecrushonherandididntwanttosaywewerefriendsbutnowshehatesmeandidontknowwhattodo." I babble,
"Ok why I got from that was you have a crush on Elle and she hates you." She grins,
"So what do I do?"
"You tell her you arnt her friend because you want to be more than friends with her because you love her and she's beautiful" Evie says dreamily,
"Evie thats terrible advice!"
"Ok fine, tell her you arnt friends your best friends and you were having a laugh but she ran off," the blue haired girl sighs,
"Thanks love you Blueberry!" I gush and walk back in.
"Your gonna get friend zoned though." I hear her mutter. Then she walks in after me,
"Awww puppy!"

Elle's POV:

Evie and Carlos walk back in.
"Right now whatever that was is over we need to plan." Mal claps her hands for emphasis. "Everyone! blueberry over there and I will give Lonnie and Elle a makeover then you grab only the necessary things then I will cast a temporary barrier break spell."
"Ok." I say,
"Ok? Is that it?" The purple haired girl pouts.
"Sorry." I shrug.
"Ok then starting with Lonnie." Mal and Evie get up and start casting spells and doing makeup and all that jazz. Out of the corner of my eye I can see Carlos watching me stroke the spotted pup. I assume it's because he is either scared stripe might do something or he can't understand why I'm so calm around any dog but dude. Doug breaks my train of thought.
"You named the puppy stripe?" He asks,
"Yeh." I smile,
"Ironic." Jay laughs, we talk whilst we wait for the VK girls. Then my phone bings,
I pick it up and see a message. It's from Carlos, I look over at him. He smiles at me,

Carlos🐶: Please hear me out...
What?:me

Carlos🐶: when you asked are we friends yes we are, we are best friends. I was just having a laugh and you ran off before I could explain.

I look at him and he's smiling at his phone,
"Here Jay." I whisper and pass him a pillow then point at Carlos.
"Yo smiley!" I call to Carlos, he looks up and me and Jay chuck put pillows at him. He jumps of Lonnie's bed and into the floor next to Doug. We all laugh at him,
"You guys need to stop throwing stuff." Doug chuckled.
"We now present... Lonnie!" Evie announces walking out the bath room. Lonnie struts out posing like she on a runway, has a totally new look. She looks like a villain. Everyone claps and cheers and Jay let's out a wolf whistle to which I see Lonnie blush a little.
"Lonnie you look amazing!" I say.
"A true villain." Doug says.
"Ok, Elle come here." Mal says,
"Wish me luck." I say to the boys, they both smirk at me. Mal and Evie give me a totally new look as well, Mal magics the end of my hair blue, and Evie hands me a light blue cropped leather jacket, a blue camo top, ripped denim shorts, fishnets and laced boots. She even accessories stripe with a light blue spikey collar.
"Done! Elle you look perfect!" Evie squeals,
"And finally we have the ice princess." Mal motions me out the bathroom. I strut out mimicking Lonnie, everyone claps and cheers again.
"Slay Elle!" Lonnie shouts laughing,
"She's finally as tall as us!" Jay teases referring to my new heels,
"Shut it!" I snap jokingly at him. Carlos didn't say anything he just clapped and cheered which somehow bothered me. Elle focus on Ben and the isle. Carlos is your friend. Best friend. I tell myself.
"Ok boys go get changed grab your stuff then everyone meet at the front of the school." Mal instructs. Me and Lonnie grab our phones then leave, I attach a black belt to stripes collar and lead him out. when we meet the others out the front they are all in there old villain clothes, they look amazing.
"The VK's in there element." Lonnie laughs,
"Why are your cloths my dreams?" I mention looking each of them up and down.
"I got ya." Evie smiles, she gives Doug a quick peck and a hug.
"See you soon."he whispers and she nods. Then Doug walks back to the school and waves.
"Mal how is you spell going to be strong enough?" Jay asks,
"Wait!" Carlos interrupts, Mal groans. "Is stripe coming?" Everyone looks at the puppy.
"Why not." Mal sighs "And Jay With this," she pulls out a small bottle,
"What is it?"
"Enchanted lake water, it counters all magic so I figure it will break the barrier until it drys." She shrugs and throws the water on the glistening barrier. Nothing happens for a second,
"Impressive." Jay scoffs, seconds later a small archway appears.
"Impressive." I mock Jay and walk through, we all do. The air feels thinner outside I've been us the USA all my life and although I only walked a metre on this side of the barrier everything feels... different. I look over my shoulder at the barrier that was now back to its usual self.
"You okay?" I look back, it's Carlos.
"Yeh it's just strange to be on this side I guess."
"You what!" We hear Jay shout, we see a very angry Jay and Mal looking guilty.
"I just forgot!" She shouts back,
"Great we are gonna be stuck here!" He throws his hands up,
"Give her break Jay." Evie defends her friend,
"Hey! What happened?" Carlos calls grabbing my hand pulling me over to the group. He let's go and looks at them again, "well?"
"Mal accidentally forgot to bring water for this side," lonnie informs us,
"So?" I shrug, everyone looks at me.
"So?" Jay yells, "so we can't get home!"
"So, you can't you magic on this side anyway." Carlos says in a duh tone.
"So we are stuck!" Lonnie laughs spitefully, I look at Carlos. I give him a 'are they dumb?' Look and he just rolls his eyes.
"Doug is on the other side Idiots!" We say at the same time. We look at each other and smile.
"Oh yeh!" Jay laughs awkwardly,
"Totally didn't forget my boyfriend or anything." Evie mutters,
"Whoops." Mal exclaims. We all start walking across the bridge that appears in front of us.
"You know we don't know who's doing this." Lonnie says,
"Your right."
"It can't be anyone over here right?" Carlos says,
"Yeh no magic." Mal reminds us.
"But someone must have come here to use the flower," Evie adds,
"That's a mystery All right."

Sorry if this sucks. I got my braces on today and my teeth kill. So I was writing in blocks .So yeh 👍 and school started so sos for slow updates
