When we finally reach the other end of the bridge we all duck behind a building.
"Ok guys we are gonna climb up this ladder and then-"
"Do we know where the flower is?" Lonnie interrupts.
"Oh god!"
"We should have thought this through." Evie sighs,
"Ok. Where's the most obvious place?" Jay asks.
"We are not doing that!" Mal snaps.
"Well... We could ask your parents." Lonnie suggests, I can tell that she cringes saying this. We both know their parents are a sensitive topic. I reach down and lift up stripe to avoid all the awkward looks going round.
"Mines at Auradon so I'm out." Mal smirks and holds her hands up,
"My dad probably won't know." Jay mentions,
"Same with my mom." Carlos adds,
"Great!" Evie sighs,
"Don't worry blueberry we all know they will be hangin' together." Mal links her arm through Evie's. "Ok up the ladder along the roofs and down the sheds." She instructs,
"I hate this route!" Carlos whines,
"Only because your scared of it." Jay says,
"It's quicker sorry bro," Mal shrugs and starts climbing. I'm the last to climb, I hold stripe in one arm and climb using the other. We run along the roof,
"Ok down here." Jay says and jumps off the side doing a front flip. We all run to the edge. He has landed on a second sloped roof. "You coming?" I grab stripe and jump of doing a full turn as I go. Me and Jay high five. Evie and Mal jump of landing easy, Lonnie jumps with a full twist. Everyone looks back up at Carlos.
"Well?"
"I hate this." Carlos mutters under his breath and jumps, he stumbles a little but regains his balance.
"Now slide down." Jay says and slides down the slope. I follow still holding stripe and so does everyone else. Then we all walk down a alley.
"So what do you think of the isle?" Jay asks,
"It's definitely different." I say kicking a can that was in my way.
"It's really strange to be back," Carlos murmurs.
"I definitely like Auradon more." Evie says.
"But I kinda miss just chillin'" Mal laughs,
"Chillin' like a villain!" The other 3 shout.
"Oh no!" Mal face palms,
"What?" Lonnie asks.
"Their gonna sing!" She whispers.
"Let me tell you something you can really trust-" Evie begins, but is interrupted by a loud bang.
"Thank the heavens!" Mal mutters under her breath, suddenly there are people surrounding us. They all walk forward and a boy dressed in red talks,
"Who shall pass?" He says in a echoing voice,
"The VK's." Jay announces,
"Traitor!" A girl yells.
"And?" Evie hisses evilly, I then realise no one has seen me and Lonnie in the dark. I tap her shoulder and motion to a rickety looking Ladder up to the roof of an even more rickety looking building. I quickly press stripes lead into Jays hand. He looks round but I put my finger to my lips. Me and Lonnie slowly climb up the ladder whilst the others debate with the crowd.
"What are we doing?" Lonnie whisper shouts,
"I didn't think that far."we look around.
"Here!" Lonnie lifts up a large grey sheet.
"Perfect!" We smirk. We each grab a a end of the sheet and walk to the edge of the building. Then I whistle, everyone looks up and the VK's laugh. Me and Lonnie drop the sheet on the crowd. They all scream and start struggling.
"Nice one!" Carlos yells up, the four VK's run past them jumping over boxes and random trash on the floor,
"Mind you own business morons!" Mal shouts as they run round the corner, me and Lonnie jump of the roof onto a lower one then we both do a front tuck and land next to the others.
"Thanks." Evie grins,
"No problem." Lonnie answers. I take stripes lead from Jay and we carry on. We walk for almost two hours and the sky has gone a orangey purple.
"How much longer?" Lonnie asks.
"About 3 hours 4 tops." Mal says, everyone groans. "We can stop in 20 minutes and sleep somewhere."
"My feet are killing me." I whine.
"Well if you hadn't worn 100 inch heels they wouldn't hurt!" Jay laughs,
"Hay! Do not bring this on me, Evie put me in heels." I smirk,
"But you look so good in them!" She calls from gently stroking stripes head. Stripe had gotten tired about 20 minutes ago and Evie had tucked him into her bag and he fell asleep there. I look down at my heels and mentally groan. Then I look up at Carlos trudging along, and grin. I slow my walk so I'm behind the group,
"Heads up Carlos!" I shout, he doesn't bother to look round.
"What Elle?" He asks. I run and jump on his back. "Really?" He laughs.
"Evie's shoes are murdering me." I giggle. We both look over at Evie who is smirking. Carlos glares at her,
"What?" I ask.
"Nothing." They both say.
"Ok..." I say slowly. Everyone continues walking and I keep whispering stupid stuff in Carlos ear to make him laugh.
Time skip to 20 minutes later:
"Ok up there." Mal's voice wakes me up, for a second I was confused. Then I remembered I was on Carlos back.
"How long was I out?"I whisper,
"About 10 minutes." He chuckled gently, "don't worry Evie got so tired she walked into a pole and Jay had to carry her bridal style the last 5 minutes and Mal carried stripe. Turns out she's a big softie for puppy's ."
"Kk." I yawn not fully aware of what he said,
"Here." He crouches down and I slide of his back and land lightly on the ground stumbling back a little. I see Evie rubbing her eyes smudging all her make up (though she was so tired she didn't care). Then I see Mal climb up yet another ladder followed by Lonnie, Evie and Jay.
"Your go Elle." Carlos says pushing me in front of him.
"It's fine you were in front." I tell him,
"Yeh, but your so tired you'll probably fall off if." He laughs,
"Yeh and then I'll squash you!"
"Elle I literally carried you as dead weight for the last 10 minutes and trust me you are not heavy." He says firmly. I'm not getting out of this I think.
"Fine." I sigh and climb up with Carlos following.
"We can sleep up here." Jay says.
We lay down on the roof, the sky has turned a lilac. We all lay in a row; Mal, Evie, Lonnie, me, Carlos, Jay. The VK's insisted that me and Lonnie sleep in the middle, we protested but they wouldn't drop it. My eyes start to drop and I fall asleep.
Time skip to 2:37 am:
I wake from a dream to a dark sky. I look quickly at everyone else they are all still asleep. Then I quickly check my phone 2:37. I get up and dangle my legs off the building, my dream was weird, a dream I've never had before. I was in the forest laughing with a boy.it felt so real. Even when I was dating chad I didn't ever dream about him. I dreamt about a big brown eyed, messy frost bitten haired boy. I couldn't remember who it was. But then it hits me. I dreamt about a big brown eyed, messy frost bitten haired and freckle covered boy. I looked back at who I was laying next to before,
"Oh my god!"
I had a dream about Carlos de vil.
Kinda short but lots of Carlos 🖤 also I'm on holiday atm so this may be really blocky and kinda awful.
