We have given up the idea of telling everyone what happened to Ben, even though we all know magic exists apparently no one believes us. They don't believe their king! Well that's just great! Note my sarcasm. Anyway at the moment the buzz of Auradon prep is the end of school ball. The masquerade ball. I'm so excited. I walk out of my last lesson and head to my dorm, I walk across the field and enter the dorm building. When I reach my door there is a letter outside. A black envelope with my name scribbled on it in silver pen, I pick it up and go inside. "Hey Lonnie!" I greet seeing mulans daughter lounging on her bed, she grunts a hello and rolls over so she's facing me. Her face lights up when she sees the envelope in my hand. "What's that?" "I don't know it was outside." I slump into my bed and carefully begin to tear open the envelope. Lonnie jumps up and sits down next to me. Inside the envelope is a piece of lined paper that looks like it's been ripped out of a school book. "Meet me in the forest, signed c."I read, I look over at Lonnie. "Chad?" She questions. "I really doubt that." "Well are you going?" "I guess so." I sigh getting up. "Let me chance my shoes and grab a jacket and I'll go." Lately after our adventure to the isle I had really be feeling the villain look. I haven't not totally changed my look just added more black and leather. I change out of my strappy heels into some platform sneakers and throw on a off blue bomber jacket. "Have fun!" Lonnie calls in a sing song voice as I shut the door. I stroll towards the forest and in, the note didn't say wear in the forest so I decide to walk to the lake. The forest is quiet and eerie. When I reach the lake I see a familiar figure dressed head to toe in black white and red. I smile at the sight of cruella de vils son. I walk silently up behind him and tap his shoulder making him jump a little, "Hey Carlos," "Hi Elle." He says scratching the back of his neck. "Why are you here?" "I got a message saying to come here and it said it was from c..." I trail off, "don't suppose you know anything?" I grin realising it was probably him. "No. I don't but you might want to walk round to the other side of the lake." He smirks. "Why go round?" I grab Carlos hand and pull him to the very edge of the water. "I'm not swimming!" He tells me backing away. "Me neither! It's cold! Not that I mind." I giggle and push my hands forward. Glistening ice shoots out my fingertips creating a sparkling bridge over the enchanted lake. I step on and walk over. I'm so relived it wasn't chad! And so glad it's Carlos! Wait! What am I thinking? On the other side I walk forward more until I end up at the same tree Carlos had comforted me at when I was crying. The tree was decorated with fairy lights and a blanket laying at the bottom. I gasp and cover my mouth. "Do you like it?" I hear a nervous voice ask. I turn round and face the freckled boy, then run into his arms and hug him. "Your so sweet!" I laugh, we sit down on the blanket and I turn to him. "so why d'you do it?" "Well... I was wondering if you wanted... to um... maybe... well... possibly come to the dance with me?" He stutters. I'm taken back a little only out of shock. Honestly it doesn't fully sink in before I blurt out an answer. "Definitely." He let's out a relived smile at my answer. I lay back and look up at the grey sky. Everything starts to sink in and I think about everything that just happened. I'm so happy he asked me! Wait! That's the second time today. Oh god... "You know this is where I first found out about your powers." Carlos says. I shake myself out of my thoughts. "I know, that seems like ages ago after the whole Ben thing," "That was definitely one of the strangest weeks of my life!" I grin, "same." "Although I wasn't super pleased to see my mom again." He sighs looking up. "I'm sorry about all of that," I bite my lip. "Not my greatest moment." "I mean you saved us all from the dungeons." "Well yeh." We spend an hour talking and I slowly realise more and more how much I like Carlos. Just as we get up and go home he turns to me. "Oh! I almost forgot. Here," he passes me a bracelet. A blue charm bracelet. "I was going to give it to you if you said no and say I was just joking and give it to you as an apology but now it's a gift." He chuckles. "I don't think that would be a great way to say sorry." I laugh slipping the bracelet round my wrist, "but it doesn't mean I don't love it." I look closely at the glowing gems. "Where did you get the blue gems from? I've never seen them in Auradon." "Dunno I found the bracelet on the isle of the lost."

Time skip to when they are back in their dorms.
"Omg! That's so cute!" Evie squeals, Lonnie had called Mal and Lonnie to ours after I told her the whole story with Carlos. Then I had re told it to the VK girls. "Little Carlos. Who would have thought?" Mal chuckles, "So do you like him?" Evie asks. "I mean I think so," I take a deep breath debating weather to tell them about the dream. "I kinda dreamt about him on the isle." they all gasp. "What happened?" Lonnie asks barely above a whisper. All three girls eyes had gone wide, then I realise what they're thinking. "No! No! Nothing like what your thinking up! We were just laughing in the forest." I can tell they all let out a breath and smile. "I'm so excited for the ball!" The blue haired girls sighs laying back on the bed dreamily. "I'm not." Lonnie groans. "I don't have a date." "What about Jay?" Mal smirks. I hold back a laugh. "Ew as if." Lonnie laughs it off but we all see a small blush spread across her face. "Yeh ok!" I tease. "Whatever." We all laugh.
