I awake in the woods. "What happened?" I question, it hurts to talk. "I love you so much Teagan," Rylee cries. I look up at Rylee, she's holding me in her lap.

"You literally died Boss," Cannon informs me. "Then how am I back?" I ask. Rylee brushes some stray hairs out of my face. "I made Grayson teach me CPR," Rylee states. I sit up, it's cold out here.

"Why the hell do you keep dying for me Teag?" Rylee asks. I look her straight in the eyes. "Because you are the most important person in my life," I whisper. Rylee hugs me tightly, she cries into my chest. I begin to cry with her.

"We are still near the cave, but I think we'll be safe for now," Travis states. That's good I guess, I would like to be further from the cave, but I'm exhausted. "What time is it?" I question. "It's almost dark. I'll take first watch," Brynn states. I nodded in response.

My stub hurts, but I don't dare take my prosthetic leg off. I lean back into Rylee, I'm so cold and she's keeping me warm. "Brynn can I use your camera?" I groan. Brynn hands me her phone, the camera is on.

I look at my stub on selfie mode, the pain slowly fades away. "This is fucking amazing," I smile. "As long as the pain's gone I agree," Rylee responds.

Alex stumbles over and sits next to Rylee. "Teagan how are you doing?" Alex asks. "I'm fine Alex," I replied. "How are you holding up Alex?" Rylee questions. Alex doesn't respond. "You can talk to us," I inform.

Alex lets out a deep breath. "I used to never be afraid, even when I was on the streets. Now it seems like I'm always afraid," Alex mutters. I totally understand her, as a kid who grew up in a toxic house I was never scared of things that are considered scary. I was always scared when I had a good day, but mostly sad when I would have a good day because I knew it would be a long time before the next good day.

"I get it," I remark. Alex just looks down at me, she has no response. I'm not really good at getting people to talk about their feelings, or talking about mine. I hope this is enough for Alex to relate to. Kacey could comfort Alex, I know for a fact she could.

I wonder if Kacey will actually give me a sign. An orange butterfly with black specks lands on my hand. "Kacey" I smile. Rylee looks down at me, I'm still laying on her. "Yeah I bet it's Kacey," Rylee whispers. The butterfly flies over and lands on Rylees shoulder, it then jumps down onto my chest over my heart. The butterfly flutters its wings up and down a few times, and it takes off into the evening sky.

Rylee lays down, she's still holding onto me. "Are you ever going to let me go?" I smirk. "No" Rylee giggles. My neck hurts badly. "Do I have a bruise?" I question. Rylee looks at me sympathetically. "Teagan you have a bruise, but it also broke your neck," Rylee speaks.

"Did Brynn heal it?" I ask. "Yes but you'll still have most of the pain," Rylee responds. Rylee takes my hand, I squeeze her hand.

"How did they find you?" I questions Rylee. Rylee's eyes tear up. "One of them ran into me, and it shot me in the chest without seeing me. I became visible from the pain," Rylee gulps. I look Rylee in her teary eyes. "It's okay Ry," I whisper. Rylee pulls herself together, she kisses me.

How come I feel so safe right now, with her will I only ever feel safe.
