I am laughing so hard right now, Teagan just fell right on her butt in the shower. I pull her up and I hug her. "How many times are you going to fall?" I laugh. "Give me about twenty more falls," Teagan giggles back.
I help Teagan out of the shower, and we get dressed. "I love you," I smile. Teagan hops over to me and wraps her arms around my neck. "I love you more," Teagan whispers. I don't think it's possible for her to love me more, but I don't argue.
Teagan kisses me. I lift Teagan into the air, and she wraps her leg around my waist. I kiss Teagan back. "We should let someone else take a shower," Teagan giggles. I carry her out of the washroom, I sit down on the bed with Teagan on my lap. "Did you guys take a cold shower?" Cannon smirks. "Yup" Teagan smiles. I kiss her in front of everyone, and she kisses me back.
"Get a fucking room," Cannon remarks. "We have a fucking room," Teagan counters. Everyone in the room laughs. It feels good to laugh, to see Teagan laugh in a time of pain. I'm proud of how far Teagan has come.
Travis makes the tension in the room come back. "I think it's time to go, it's nine already," Travis reported. Teagans face goes blank, I can't read how she feels. I take Teagans hand, she squeezes really hard, but does not hurt me. "Lets go," Teagan squeaks.
I help my girlfriend put her metal leg on, and we leave the motel. All of us climb into the black jeep that we came in. I sit in between Teagan and Cannon, Travis and Alex sit upfront, and Brynn sits in the middle front seat.
Teagan's still holding onto my hand with a tight grip, I lay my head on her shoulder. "After this is over, am I going to live on the street again?" Alex questions. Teagan looks at her and then at me. "No you will not be living on the streets," Teagan states. "Okay then where will I go?" Alex asks. Teagan glances at me once again, I nod at her. I already know the answer. "You can come with us if you want to," Teagan responds.
Alex turns around in her seat. "Where would that be?" Alex questions. Teagan squeezes my hand. "We will be living with Kacey's older sister Kali. she lives in Manitoba," I state. "Sounds good to me," Alex remarks.
Teagan squeezes my hand again. Kacey and Kali looked like identical twins, but they're three years apart. It's going to be really hard for Teagan to move on from this.
Teagan's hand is clammy, I think she's really scared. "Are you okay Teag?" I whisper. Teagan doesn't reply, she just holds my hand. "I love you Ry," Teagan whispers. "I love you Teag," I whisper back.
Cannon leans over onto me from his seat. I'm leaning on Teagan, and she's just sitting there. I think Cannon's scared too, I think we're all scared of what's to come.
